“My first visit was a good one. Although, the room with carpet needs work and pest control. Availability was limited and was only able to stay for one night. Staff was friendly and quick to attend my needs. Cleanliness for the rooms was great although I did find some cockroaches in the furniture.Nearby activities: Close to alot of stores and shopping centers.”

“Two star hotel room with 4 star service and amenities. This quaint hotel has a Small pool and it's own hidden tavern. Nice to be able to stay in without leaving anywhere. The Front desk clerk was really helpful and directed me to the on site laundry room.”

“Decent hotel. Beds weren’t super comfortable and for a newer hotel it’s already showing a lot of wear & tear in the rooms, so could definitely use better upkeep.
My room’s a/c never really got cold and the room had a weird musty smell to it.
But might stay here again if it were convenient.
The breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had Marriott’s Select Properties. (The lady making the food was also very sweet!)”
“This is definitely the nicest Motel 6 we have stayed at. The hotel is clean and has a wonderful ambiance. The staff is so helpful and friendly. We had a semi getting repairs,so 2 days turned into 5. Victor was extremely helpful making sure we didn't have to keep changing rooms on a day by day. The cleaning staff does a great job. Cassie is an absolute joy. Thank you to everyone here for making our stay a delightful adventure ✨️”
“We stayed for a week. Everyone was always friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff, maintenance, housekeeping and breakfast staff always had smiles. Always wanted to make sure everything was good with us and how we were doing. We will be staying here again on our way
back to Port Isabel for the winter. Plus the afternoon chocolate chip cookies were always wonderful. They take pride in their hotel. I would definitely recommend to others.”

Rooms: Good long term stay rooms. Full size fridge. Small TV for the room size
Nearby activities: Restaurants, golf course adjacent. Very near the airport and the Plaza mall.
Walkability: Pretty walkable as far as texas goes, but not like "urban walkable"”

“This place is an example of how inexpensive motels should be. Very clean rooms, very spacious, nice pool area, clean beds, huge shower and excellent service. The only thing lacking is breakfast but you can't have everything. The price was well worth it without going over budget. I recommend this place to anyone looking for place for the night with spending to much.”
“I requested a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed and the space inside the room was very spacious. In general the hotel looks remodeled. I feel like the elevator lacks maintenance because it thunders a lot.”

“I would always book my out of town visitors and guests at the Echo but since they shut down there excellent restaurant I book them elsewhere. If they ever reopen the restaurant with the same quality as before I will resume using their services.”

“I recently stayed at Studio 6, and it was such a peaceful and relaxing experience from start to finish. The entire hotel had a fresh, clean scent that made it feel inviting the moment I walked in. My room was quiet, cozy, and perfect for unwinding, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable—I slept better than I have in a long time. Honestly, it was way better than staying at the other hotel I’ve tried in the area. Everything from the calm atmosphere to the overall cleanliness made this stay stand out. I’m giving it a well-deserved 5 stars and would absolutely stay here again!”
“Good value for money. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there are details that can be improved. The pool is very good. Breakfast needs to improve, it's practically coffee, juice and bread.A few minutes from the plaza mall and shopping centers.”

“The receptionist on the night shift was very friendly, the guy on the early shift was very helpful in trying to get a taxi for me, and when he couldn't get the service for me to be at the headquarters on time, he took me himself so that there would be no setbacks. Excellent staff, and the room clean, with everything you need to rest that night.”
