I need to file a formal complaint regarding a person who would only provide a first name of Michelle. She was not wearing a name tag. This incident just occurred at the Raintree location in Allen, TX. She indicated that orders from only one of my two physicians had been received. I called their office to ask that they resend them. Michelle then demanded that I approach the desk to sign a form, at that exact moment. I explained what I was doing and she again demanded that I sign the form at that very moment. She then threatened me, saying that she would be canceling the orders in that case. She left the area and when she returned, I explained that if she were to do so, it would be an illegal act and that she would suffer the consequences. Keep in mind, all of this was in front of a room of people. I spoke respectfully, professionally and in a calm manner at all times. In addition, I observed her treating multiple other clients rudely as well. She appears to have an exaggerated opinion of herself, a controlling personality and is uninterested in customer service. As difficult as it is to hire competent staff, I suggest that this woman should be relocated to a non-customer related role. I would appreciate a return call or email on this matter please.

The online website do not say anything about lunch break 12:30 to 1:30. I was at door at 12:15 and still it was closed. Highly unprofessional.

We love this lab. My son is on the autism spectrum and gets nervous for blood draws. They let him put on his favorite Beatles song and sing during his visit and it eases his anxiety. Grateful for this caring and understanding staff.

If you're a hard stick, this is the best place to go. I have blood so hard to get I've had a phlebotomist pray over me. Tracey (hope that's right) has such a gentle hand and she's able to get my blood every time. Very nice people!

This place doesn’t deserve the bad reviews at all. Easy and quick in and out and the nurse was wonderful and sweet to my 7 year old.

Very unorganized and one lady at the front desk was exceptionally rude and snapped at me twice. I will never go to this location again.

I was here b4 the doors opened & since I now have to call my referring doctor to REsend the order AGAIN & wait for others to go b4 me that came in after me I figured I would review the awfully rude & condescending receptionist who needs to be taught customer service skills. Additionally this is the ONLY facility that "doesn't receive" my orders. Allen Labcorp needs to do better!!! The MA/Phlebotomist was awesome--reason for the 2 star--sorry I forgot his name that starts with a "B" but he made my visit worthwhile!

Yesterday I was received by a rude and racist receptionist who was calling me names instead of using my last name. After repeatedly telling her what my last name was, she instisted in calling me the way she wanted. She did this while yelling the name with a tone of superiority, as if she knew better what my name was. I stormed out of the place and I'm never coming back. This person lacks the minimum of professionalism required to be a receptionist. She is disrespectful and unprofessional.

I've had to edit my 1st as I found out more details...we were refused service by woman @ the front desk...not even a tech who actually does the bloodwork?!?! She claimed "nothing was circled on the lab" Rx & she couldn't "figure out what tests were needed"...BS excuse to go to lunch instead of honoring the appointment we made. Who is she to determine who gets through? We've had the sand set of tests done by LabCorps in NY & MO...never a problem. Our doctor sent a computer generated Lab Rx. There is no chicken scratch to decipher. Billing Codes & Diagnostic Codes are listed in orderly boxes. The order for tests are clearly typed out & important bits are in bold & underlined. We had an appointment & had to fast all day bc this was the best we could get. This fasting bloodwork is very important & affects subsequent decisions. This receptionist sent us away, calling after us that there is no need for an appointment. Self satisfied little smirk. Thank you Captain Obvious. We made an appointment so we wouldn't have to wait an indeterminate time. Refused to give us a collection cup to make anything easier for the next time. How can anyone anticipate how long they have to wait to hopefully be called in before your bladder bursts? All previous labs have never had a problem handing over a sterile cup to be dropped off @ our convenience. This woman decided to send away someone who had been fasting since last night for a bloodwork appointment today. We had email reminders to be on time & checked in via QR code...why give an appointment at a time your staff would rather go satisfy her appetite? They posted their lunchtime as 12:30-1:30. It's 2pm now, are you still hungry? If you're hangry bc you were so busy approving only things inside circles, be a professional & ask for some grace as you've had to skip lunch. She had the time & energy to be snarky, dismissive & an actual hindrance. I hope you get the treatment you doled out right back at you sister.

As many others have indicated they were nervous about going to this location because of bad reviews, so was I. I made an appointment for today. When I arrived, I checked in at the kiosk which was very user friendly. The lady at the front counter was very polite and greeted me with a smile. I only waited a couple minutes before taken back for a blood draw. The staff was very friendly, professional and I simply couldn’t ask for any more. I was Impressed with my appointment.
