Porter's is a well-established grocery store located in Andrews, Texas, serving the community since 1945. The store emphasizes taking care of people, including customers, team members, and the local community. It offers a wide selection of quality products, including a bakery, deli, and floral displays, though it does not have a pharmacy. The store is known for being clean, orderly, and well-maintained, with a scenic location near Big Bend, making it a convenient spot for shopping before visiting the park. The store features plenty of cashiers and self-checkout options, making the checkout process quick and friendly. Customers appreciate the fresh and new feel of the recently opened location, despite higher prices compared to other areas, which is understandable due to transportation costs. Parking is ample, with carts accessible from outside, and inside, the lighting can be a bit dark. Shoppers find the produce to be fresh and of good quality, with a variety of sauces, cheese spreads, and grains available. While most reviews are positive, some customers have expressed disappointment with the deli, noting slow service and limited lunch options, particularly the unavailability of chicken tenders. Overall, Porter's is valued as a trusted store that provides fresh products and friendly service, making it a helpful resource for the local community and visitors alike.

Nice, orderly store with clean restrooms and a good selection for the size. There is a bakery/deli and a floral display, but no pharmacy. Plenty of cashiers, plus a self-checkout.

Just recently opened so everything is fresh and new. Prices seem higher here than in other locations but that is to be expected because of higher transportation costs. It's great to have this store in Alpine.
