I will give Dr. Demouchet and the office staff a 5 star rating- but the people you have to deal with at the home office just to make an appointment or get insurance information or even to get the phone answered with their call center are horrible. They need to put a phone line back in Alvin so we do not have to have horrible wait times Or stop by the office just to schedule an appointment.. the ones who answer are rude and not helpful at all. They never return your calls on questions about insurance. Going from a facility that was locally owned to a corporate facility has changed the quality of customer care provided by whomever answers your phones. At least I have a good eye doctor and stopping by always gets what you need. I would get rid of one phone number to support 5 locations. It’s not working. This has been going on for the last 3 years. Ridiculous

Over book , waiting room packed 230 pm appointment, 45 min before anything like dilation and another 30 min before pictures then 1 1/2 before seeing doctor

Pack a book, a hobby, and your patience. Wait times to see Dr. McMullen can be as much as two hours past your scheduled appointment time. Staff are unapologetic as this appears to be the norm. If you value on time appointments, you may want to select a different provider.

I have seen several docs here and have been happy with all of them. I have issues with their office staff and billing department. I paid my copay at my last appointment as required by my insurance. When the claim was processed, BCBS paid the contracted amount in full and showed no copay for me. I have been trying to get them to refund my copay and that has been a BIG problem. I have gotten all kinds of excuses but no refund. This experience makes me want to seek medical care elsewhere.

I really like Dr. Moffitt alot but not some of the other staff nor the phone system. The ladies that sell the glasses are very rude and not helpful at all. My husband and I both had a bad experience here so we decided to find somewhere else. There's no need to be so rude to people. I'm paying. I have other options. Again, I'll miss Dr. M but it's a full experience and it hasn't been good.

The oriental lady at the front desk was acting unprofessional when all I wanted was my eye prescription to take to another place to get filled. I won’t be going back

This place is difficult to deal with.You’re never able to contact the location you visit instead they have operators answering phone for all of their locations, horrible experience.

I know some people hate this place and say they're overbooked. But they don't have Dr. Demouchet as their doctor. He is my favorite doctor. He is patient and kind. He makes the effort to know his patients. And I still remember him encouraging during my college years. He's willing to listen to any concerns about eye health and provides great care. I won't ever leave this place unless I have to move.

I've been coming here for more than 23 years Dr. Moffit is great he knows how to treat people with diabetes and I've been a type one diabetic for 35 years. Him and his staff are awesome great customer service also got my eyeglasses or did not have to wait very long A++++

Love Dr Moffit. He is so personable and explains things so well to patients. No issues whatsoever for me. I moved my entire family to his practice for our eye needs. Can't understand the less than 5 star reviews by others. It's been very pleasant experience for my daughter and I.

My appointment was yesterday. There was no problem getting an appointment. Went in a couple days before to get new patient paperwork. It was during lunch hour (12:30pm). They were very polite and helpful with insurance. Appointment day they were very busy. From what I could hear nice to everyone that came in. Ordered my glasses there and Perla was amazing!!! Oh and Dr Moffett was great. I went to the office in Alvin.

I love going to Coastal Eye Care/Alvin. They're not too much more expensive than any of the other's that are available especially considering the quality of care you get, the personability they offer most of the workers & especially the Dr. I go to each time remembers me from time to time! Also the excellent choices in Eye wear they have. Gotta love my Ray Bans!!!
