We can also take our 10 year old and he's been very patient with her, and other children, in the campaigns. This is the place to go for table top gaming, and a nice community to help you learn about them! Highly recommended ??”

Our go to place for art projects. We have been restoring old doll houses and picture frames and Michaels had everything we needed to make it happen too include coupons online to make the dollar go farther. The self checkout system was a little jarring at first but once you get going it gets to be pretty intuitive. I recommend this place if you’re looking for paints, sandpapers, canvases, and materials to draw inspiration from for your next art project.”
“I found this review sitting in my drafts, posting it now...I had ordered some tea-light candles from Michaels, the online ad said it burned for 4 hours, and I tested one, it was alive only for 3. I did not want it, but was a little hesitant as I had already opened one, still I visited the store and they took it, they did ask me how come its opened, but took it back anyway in the spirit of 'customer not satisfied', which was indeed what it was.Appreciated the service. Now that I was here, decided to look around. Have always found interesting stuff at this one of the best DIY stores. Great variety from paper crafts, wood, to yarn, stickers, seasonal stuff, Ofcourse paints, canvas, frames , tailoring stuff, Cricut machines, instant cameras and many many more. Not to forget the all exclusive art classes. Michaels is a store that can make your imagination take flight and your creative instinct jump start, like mine did. I HAVE to start painting again !In the sticker section, they have added some not- so- native- to- America festivals like Diwali ! I had seen it in Party city, now here, it was cool, I Hadd to get it. I also got some beads and a pendant to accessorize a particular dress and make it party ready. Now if I could just find that sewing kit and some time, Thanksgiving is just about a day away!I will be back soon.”

I was immediately greeted by Miss Ellie, she was so kind and easy to talk to, her shop is so clean and well organized with many beautiful antiques to look at. I find antique shops so whimsical and Miss Ellies is definitely a special place to visit if you are in the Alvin area. I will definitely be back to support her small business!”
