“There are always friendly people working in these stores!! Not the other similar names ones you know but the one with the GREEN TREE!!
Some are bigger than others but they're pretty consistent w'many brand name products for your home, auto, yard, face, kids school supplies ALL at way less cost than at the grocery or drug stores BRAND NAME STUFF too!”

A refreshing and quite a blessing list of hotwheel toy cars. I couldn't wait, not a second too late, I grabbed many a metal machines, some cars even green. “Dont know her name but she has like a redish purple hair,I am a regular shopper at your store and love the people who work there . On the day of my visit she told me it was a new policy that everyone had to leave their purses behind the counter , well after asking around I found out that was a lie. She was extremely rude and bossy. I felt singled out and embarrassed as there were alot of people in the store. That behavior is very unprofessional, I hope she's not going to be there permanently because I'm going to have to find somewhere else to shop”
“This is my one-stop shop for basic needs and small items as it’s just around the corner from home. The store is always clean, well stocked and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. There’s a few new faces there, but they are just as helpful as the ones I already know. The parking lot is plenty, and I can usually find a spot by the door. They do have a bathroom, but it’s locked, so you have to ask for the key. It’s usually always clean and well stocked. We usually try to go on Saturday, bc as most all Dollar Sore locations, they have $5.00 off your total price. It’s a small discount, but it usually pays for the drinks we get every week. If you have their app, you can find they have many common items on sale like laundry supplies, chips/dips, snacks and even some frozen food like chicken, pizzas, butter, milk and cheese. It saves us a lot of time bc it’s close to home, and they usually always have the common grocery items, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products!”

“Yeah there's a man that works there at the Dollar general on Southwest 10th and plains and his name is Mick. He goes above and beyond his job as an employee. He really looks out for the store and he's really kind and courteous to all the customers he always has a smile on his face. He's always a real nice person to talk to and he's courteous. I think he's one of the best employees I've ever seen is the Dollar general stores ever. I think y'all need to recognize this man because he really is a great employee thank you.”
“The Dollar General I went to over by 3rd and Western was a very small and cramped store but it had a good variety of items to buy. The people were courteous and helpful that were in there.”

Everytime I walk in if I have problems finding something shes notices and asks if I need help shes so sweet she will walk me to that specific isle instead of just pointing and telling me like most people shes always constantly doing something but yet as soon as I get to the register shes right there too such a hard worker I appreciate her and all her hard work”

“The manager is awesome! This is my go-to place for practically everything for the household. I've never not found what I needed. They're always well stock and super friendly. I'm disappointed the company felt that it was necessary to open during the coldest temperatures Amarillo has seen in a hundred years. But kudos to the loyal employees who persevered and made sure that those who needed supplies were able to obtain them. ?”

“One of the newer Family Dollar locations in Amarillo, about a year old at the time of this posting. Convenient location in the former Hastings on 45th, it's a typical dollar store with matching prices and atmosphere. The store is usually quiet and low-traffic which is odd considering the location. No complaints from me as this keeps the store looking well-maintained. They have a large selection of refrigerated and frozen foods, something nice to see at stores like this. They do not have hand baskets. They had them for about a week upon opening and promptly got rid of them, shoplifters is my guess as to why. Overall, one of the nicer, "dollar stores", in Amarillo.”
“One of the best DG stores in town. The employees are friendly and truly enjoy their customers. They try very hard to keep the store as clean as possible even though they are always short handed. The location is good, well lit and safe so the older folks don't worry about shopping in the evening. In short, just a very nice store.”
