Customer service from the company itself is awful. We have a problem with a mattress we have had less than a month, and they want to charge us for a service charge to come look at it. When you call customer service they can’t speak English. I talked to a supervisor named Donald and he was terrible and has no people skills. The local store people are great though. The product is good. Christy, the store manager is awesome.

Great Product, Great People, but their warranty and exchange policies leave a lot to be desired. This is a high risk purchase for two reasons. One. You actually have only a 100% coverage for two years. After 2 years you are responsible for 25% of the cost going up 4% every year. So you could very well end up paying 100s of dollars to repair a bed while you are still paying it off. That is not customer friendly and offers no peace of mind what so ever. Two. They will charge you at the minimum 250$ for any exchange or return. More if the price of the mattress goes up between the time you ordered it and the time you exchanged it. They are not entirely upfront about this either.
Its a great product, but you are going to assume the vast majority of the risk associated with this purchase. If I knew this before I got mine I would have never made the purchase.
I had order a split King adjustable. Did not like how bad the bed moved and the crack widened. So I opted to exchange for a flex top king and sheets. I will end up paying approx 700$ in total for this exchange.
And to the response below. If I am only hearing about these terms and conditions when the delivery is all said and done. That is not a sufficient notice. Customer's should be informed before they make the final purchase.

Joshua was very patient, informative, and not at all pushy. He gave us time to really try each mattress without rushing us from one to another. He gave us privacy so that we could discuss options. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Our sales lady, Kayla, was great to work with. We live just outside the metroplex area. Driving through Amarillo on vacation, we saw your Sleep-Number store and stopped in. We've been wanting a new Sleep-Number, ours is 18 years old. It saved us having to drive into Ft Worth to your store there. We are excited to have it delivered. We love Sleep-Number mattresses. We wish you still made them for motorhomes. We have put them in each motorhome we've bought. We called last month to have one put in our new motorhome, and we can no longer get one...sad.

Worst bed ever. It won't stay adjusted it is hot to sleep on. Quite a racket $249 for delivery, another $249 when we told them to pick up the worst bed ever. Will not let us return the adjustable base. So basically we paid $2100 for an adjustable base. Seriously recommend not wasting your money on these sorry beds.
