Sparklight is a scummy company that scams you out of quality service. They throttle your internet more than others, so you are likely not getting the speeds you are paying for. They only care when you threaten to leave and then you become a priority. They charge you if your internet doesn’t work and they falsify documentation, so you pay the maximum amount. I cannot/will not recommend them. They try to hide bad quality behind smiling faces. If you have the option for any other fiber, go with them.

It is a great internet provider when it works. If it doesn't work and you need maintenance GOOD LUCK! Customer service can't even get ahold of their own people to give them a update or to see when a repair will be made. I had to wait for a technician to come out and he did and found a problem on their end. He said they would be out that evening to fix the problem and here we are 3 days later and no one has come out. No resolution with no estimated time for the repairs because they will not respond to customer service.

Since the day they installed it haven’t had one problem. It’s been fast and even with company over using it all at once, it’s been fast and efficient! The customer service was great and easy too we were off the phone in less than 20 minutes stress free. Great deals as well!

I’ve had internet i the past but then something happened and it got canceled but when . We tried to get it back they simply said we were farther that 500 feet away from the box even though the cable runs right through my front yard and we just need them to send somebody to our house to check but the win. Not come out either

We just moved from Beaumont, and was worried that moving sour lake when we found out we couldn't use spectrum anymore. But spark light has been amazing I work from home so it was really important to me to have great internet service I also stream movies They have been perfect!! not any issues the tec. came out right away hooked us up right away!!!

USE ANY OTHER OPTION! if available.Less than one star is not an option unfortunately.I ordered internet last month (weeks ago). I am still waiting on it to be installed. Tech Manager Claude Gerhardt stated it would be about a week and to call him, however he does not answer, return calls or text messages and I am left with a mess at my home. Tech support sends out people that can't do anything, since it all comes back to Tech Manager Claude Gerhardt to get it taken care of.Response to Owner or acct poster personnel:I have done that prior to your response in anticipation that you would say the exact same thing you me, since it is in every other review on here. Perhaps you should address issues instead of giving a canned response, change your responses or something. No response is better than one that is empty and offers NO actual solution to any of our problems.

I have had issues with my internet going in and out all day long going on 4 weeks now, with still no fix to the issue. I work from home and have expressed several times that I need the issue fixed asap.I have called several times and they still will not fix the issue. Had a "repair team" come out finally to "fix the issue at the main line", and what do you know, it's still not fixed. I'm fed up at this point.

As far as I can tell the internet service is great. I have an old computer which is slow. I only lose service when I lose electricity.

Terrible amount of down time almost daily, especially most nights between 0100 and 0400. Speed was at or near enough to what I was paying for, but just too much down time. Now that it's available, I switched to Xfinity. We were with them for 17 years in Illinois. So far there's been more buffering than I would have expected, but I'm going to chalk it up to growing pains as all of Xfinity stuff is new. But the uptime has been 100% for when I need it, something I think Sparklight is not capable of. Especially at night. Oh, much more for quite a bit less money going with Xfinity over Sparklight.
