“Please, Please, Please use John's Transmission & Engine. Coming back to Austin from a fishing trip in Port Aransas, the water pump to my truck suddenly and completely came apart as soon as I came off the ferry. I pulled into the parking lot of the HEB in Aransas Pass at about 2:30pm on a Thursday. I called a couple of mechanics in Port Aransas and none of them were willing to help me so late in the day and could only offer to try to fit my vehicle in for repairs on the next day. John, however, listened to my need to get back to Austin on that same day and agreed to work on my vehicle immediately. I limped my truck about a mile away where John had already pushed other vehicles out of the way that could wait until tomorrow. He immediately began to work on my vehicle personally. It was a difficult job and required lots of patience and know-how. John stayed until 8 pm. to complete the job himself and then checked and rechecked his work so that I would not get stuck again on the drive home. He also gave me an extra gallon of water and coolant for the drive. And to top it all off, the cost of the repair was extremely fair and he didn't even consider charging me extra or taking advantage of a traveling tourist in need. Honesty, Skill and Customer Service Orientated!!! Highly Recommended.”

“I usually come to Minit Man for my oil and filter change and now I also stop by for my yearly inspection.I hardly ever have to wait, but I work from home so I have all day to go. When I see there’s no line I just pull up and it literally takes them about 5-10 minutes to get what I need done and I’m out of there.I choose this place over going to autoplex because they see me a whole lot faster and I don’t have to have an appointment.I also, get to just hang out in my car while they work on it.The guys that work there are really informative about what I need done to my vehicle without giving me the runaround. They are pretty straightforward. Especially, when I need to know the cost of something they can pretty much tell me right then in there how much it might be.I really appreciate doing business with Minit Man. They offer battery replacements, fuel system cleaning, cooling services as well as many other auto services.Stop by if you ever need anything or have any questions.”
