“I just went to the RentAWheels at 6524 S Congress Avenue today. I went in there because I had a slow leak on one of my rear tires. Alex and his team inspected my tire, found the culprit (a rogue screw), and were able to seal up my tire through the entire puncture to keep it on the road, which is great since all four of my tires still have a healthy amount of tread life on them. This is an excellent shop. I definitely recommend their work.”

After a staggering 10k bill at Land Rover Austin I was not willing to pay for, I bring my car here with High hopes after reading their reviews and I have to say they more than held up their name. $500 later plus I had them change the oil on top of that, I pulled out with my car running TOP NOTCH! “Honest, affordable mechanics. I drive an old Subaru and recently conducted some much needed maintenance late last year (timing belt, water pump etc). He was well priced and was able to complete the job quickly. A few weeks ago, my lights came on and I brought my car in to get the issue evaluated. Fateh fixed the issue quickly and did not charge me as he said the part was under warranty from the work he completed last year. Will definitely be returning!”

Because they are so good. Twomey is busy but their turnaround is a good as you will find. They do not know everything and do not hesitate to ask for help from OEM's and speciality services. You never get the "dog ate my homework" excuses just the truth as they believe it to be. I do not plan to be a repeat customer of a collision repair shop, although they have done three jobs for me, but Twomey will be my first and only call if I need a repair.”

I got there 20 mins before closing and was fully ready to leave my car there and pick it up the next day, but it was fixed for a reasonable price in 15 mins! And I didn't even have to bring a random man from my life to make sure everything went fine, imagine that! Love these guys.”

“I’ve taken my car to Excalibur twice- both different vehicles and both great experiences. First time was last year after pep boys tried to take advantage of me being a girl and told me my alternator was perfectly fine and I had a battery issue (my car died going 70 mph on the highway, sure). The team at Excalibur was so kind and apologetic that I had gone through that experience. A few weeks ago I had it towed to Excalibur and when I called to confirm beforehand they misheard my model year, and once it got there they realized it was a year they don’t work on (I got a new one). Because it was simply a tire change they honored their mistake (don’t expect them to do this for major work) and gave my car a once over as well. Every communication I have with them is so pleasant and I was almost late to work after picking up my car because I was having such a great conversation with Mike about Miata’s. Even though I can’t get my car serviced here, I highly recommend Excalibur for anyone looking for a mechanic, they are absolutely awesome!”

“I normally take my car to the dealership for repairs/fixes. I had an oil leak that required a rear engine oil seal repair. The dealership quoted me about $3,000 whereas it only cost $925 at Luu. Quick service - dropped it off Monday after work and got a call saying it was ready on Wednesday afternoon (I was expecting it to take the full week) and he took the time to explain what exactly the service entailed and each item on the invoice. Would definitely recommend for quick and quality car service!”
