This is an older motel, but it’s been renovated since 2017 after damage from hurricane Harvey. One feature I like is that it has rooms with both inside doors and outside doors on some rooms. Great motel for someone on a fishing trip here. The room I was in had a larger fridge with a top freezer for my blue ice.

Some of the lights didn't work in the room. The AC worked, but just barely. It's a Super 8 in name only.

Great location but the room itself was less than desired. Had to really slam the door in order to get it to close. There was a smell in the room that I couldn't quite figure out. Not how I wanted to end my vacation.
