“EDIT: Courtney is a godsend to this Hotel.
She worked hard to find me a room with working Ethernet and displayed a level of professionalism and generosity that I've never experienced in my 10+ years with IHG.
She took ownership of the situation and saw it through until I was eventually moved to a room with the Ethernet I require for work while here.
This saved me easily a few hours of effort, preventing me from having to pack up all of my stuff and load it out to some other hotel.
Courtney is absolutely excellent and her efforts earned the update on this review.

First, Justin, the gentleman at the front desk, was incredibly kind and helpful assisting me with acquiring an ethernet connection. He tried alternate rooms, talked to technical assistance with me, and went beyond his normal duties to try and keep my business. However, technical assistant never fixed the issue and ethernet was not provided in the end forcing me to check out early and obtain a room at another hotel.
The three stars is because I called in advance to make sure there was ethernet service, which I needed for work purposes, and it ended up not being the case.
Justin did the best he could and his customer service is absolutely beyond reproach. I just wish there was a different conclusion.”

Every property we have ever stayed at has been clean and excellent what we needed… in 2020 we stayed at the tree house in 2022 we stayed in two different houses because the whole family came so Essential Beach House and the lazy lobster more both amazing with pool access”

“I come back to this place in particular every summer and they are the best Cottages ever I actually kept the text messages from the lady that helps run the place and and cleans the place up her name is Sandra and she is super sweet and a badass hostess I love this place she is the best”
“The location is perfect. I have had my RV there for several years now. Prices have gone up quite a bit, so not sure I can continue staying there. Which is unfortunate. Family have stayed in the cabins. Great memories. I would like to do a shout out to Joe. He cares and goes above and beyond to take care of the park and customers. I truly appreciate it.”

“Our stay at Beachgate Condos was nothing short of phenomenal! Our rooms were spacious, with comfy couches and beds. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. The quick walk to the beach was awesome and the kids loved having different pools to choose from. The staff were friendly, helpful, and inviting, they made us feel like we were just a part of the community. You know, that is what w=made this place so special, it is its own little community. The other guests even welcomed us and invited us back. Lots of regulars who come back year after year. Thank you Beachgate for your hospitality! We cannot wait to visit again!!”
“This hotel was great. I loved it. The staff were so nice and it took less then a minute to get our rooms. The location is great. All the fun stuff is like 3-4 minutes away. The only resons I can find to complain is that the room floor was quite dirty and the door was all scratched up and needs to be repainted. Other than that I loved it. I will be back. Recommened by me to everybody.”
“Rented a suite with a full kitchen. Took both my dogs and they liked it as well. Not on the beach but easy to get to the beach. Will definitely stay there next time.”
“This is a great hotel. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are laid out well and it is very clean. I've stayed at this hotel a handful of times over the past few years, and I've never had a bad experience. My daughter lives in the area, and it can sometimes feel crowded at her house, so Studio 6 is a great option. Close to Portland, Corpus, Port Aransas and Rockport! They are also pet friendly. ?”

“The owners were very welcoming and the rooms were clean. If I could suggest have extra sheets for sofa bed. That would be awesome. They could use some small maintenance. My husband helped them with a hanging restroom door. Other than that perfect.”
“We’ve stayed 3 times. #15,#17,#9 they are all exactly the same. Clean and beach themed condos. The kitchen is not stocked with anything extra, pots and pans definitely need to be upgraded (we bring our own). The beds, pillows and sheets are AMAZING. I get the best sleep when we stay here! Having the golf cart as part of the stay is definitely a plus as well. We really enjoy staying here. The pool also is an added bonus for extra swim time for the kiddos.”
“Very comfortable and quiet considering other hotels around. Not quite up to Hilton standards but no need to be too picky. One or two areas for improvement are -
1) TV/remote
2) Some aging shows around bathroom .

2). The rates- they don’t try to overcharge during off peak days.”

“No one is ever in office but the lady that does work here has been very sweet and helped us with everything we needed.
The rooms are nice and clean (enough), the only complaints would be the toilet paper holder is just a hole in the wall so we use the back of the toilet, shower tile is falling out (because it's sticky tile that's not grouted therefore water is holding behind it).
Location is amazing, we walk across the street and fish. We have a park so we can walk the dogs. There are several shops within walking distance. I highly recommend PetWants to anyone with fur babies!
The price is very reasonable for what it is, definitely would recommend for a budget friendly hotel.”
“Honestly, I was a little nervous seeing this place has a 3.7 star review. However, I LOVED this place. Staff is extremely friendly, though they don't have continental breakfast they provide donuts for breakfast, as well as coffee and tea. I went in around 7 ish AM for the donuts however there were plenty past 9. The staff also helped us locate a lost phone. The room were clean, cleaner than other hotels I've been to with higher ratings. They also have a pool and a hot tub. The pier is beautiful and open at all times I believe. We even saw a crab. We booked the 3 bed hotel and each bed mattress was spotless. The bathrooms were also surprisingly clean. However our fan was broken but the AC still worked.”

“We had a room with a king size bed and kitchenette. There were dishes, pots & pans and utensils in the cabinets. Hotel provided dish soap and new scrubby pad. Nice large microwave and full size fridge. 2 burner cook top did not work. There was a random wire near the a/c unit. And in the bathroom, there was no toilet paper holder. There had been one, but just screw holes left. The TV remote needs to be replaced--it was barely useable. Breakfast was pretty good with sausage, powdered eggs, biscuits, waffles, bagels, juices, coffee, etc. Our room was on the highway end of the hotel, and the highway noise at night was considerable, along with unusual fridge noises. Overall, tho, a good value for the price.”
