“My cat has been going here for a couple years after they were able to get her in due to an emergency. Recently, Milo (my cat) has been seen by Dr. Herrod who has been amazing in figuring things out for her. She was able to see Milo prior to a procedure to rule out an infection and has given many recommendations to help her. I am really grateful for this as my cat is my little baby and having someone care for her and not make it seem like it's about a cash-grab is relieving.”
“Both Jack and Billie despise people outside of family. For some reason they tolerate everyone here (emphasis on tolerate). As antisocial as these two cats are, that says something to me about the place. Apparently, they see the same kindness and devotion there that I do. Couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.”

“Highland Village Animal Medical Center is the best! We have been bringing our furry babies there for 20+ years. We moved to Denton two years ago and still make the drive to HV because of the outstanding care and love they provide. Everyone there is outstanding, from doctors, to technicians to front desk. And Dr. Lorien Schoelkopf is so very gentle with our 14 year old Schnauzer/Poodle and our 7 year old Australian Cattle dog/American Staffordshire. Love these folks!! Always thankful for their outstanding care.”

“My 23 year old cat came down blind suddenly, they were very caring, helpful, and worked around his extreme dislike of all things medical to find the cause of his issue and get a treatment plan that is working very well without stressing him out too badly. A couple of weeks later he had to go to an emergency vet for a separate issue, and Cross Timbers are working hand in hand with that vet to transfer his treatment over and get him the help and care that he needs. Fantastic experience with them, I highly recommend their services.”

“I have dealt with two of the vets at Ponder vet so far. The latest was Dr. Ferry who took excellent care of my old German Shepherd. He was very thorough and gentle with her. He made sure to prioritize what he thought needed to be done immediately vs what could wait based on budget. The facility is extremely clean and the staff is super friendly. I have had nothing but great experiences here.”

“Ive been going to Dr Mark Moynaugh since 1998 when he sat at night with my Akita,Mishu, that had been hit by a car. The car drove away but the pick up that was behind pick her up and saw Westgate Vet on her tag and Dr Moynaugh sat with her until I returned from a football game and got the message of the accident. He had my heart right then. He has seen me through 6 more dogs ( 3 currently) and I couldn’t have picked a more knowledgable caring Vet than Dr Mark Moynaugh.”
“Dr Shaffer has cared for all of my dogs (and one cat) since 1996. He is simply the best. He truly knows and does what is best for our critters. We “dabbled” with other vets when we moved, but quickly went back to Dr Shaffer…he is worth the drive?”

“We found this clinic a few years ago and it’s our go to clinic for all of our pets. They are so caring, friendly and reasonably priced. Our little rescue dog recently had 27 teeth removed. She has not shown any signs of distress or discomfort. They gave us plenty of instruction and an action plan if it came to that. Highly recommend”

“The folks at CAH are great!! We have been looking for a Great Vet for our 3 year old BGSD for 2 years..no one would take the time to know him and gental he was..he just looks like a black wolf..they did at CAH..he got to know them in about 4 minutes..and then they were added to his "pack".. he follows the Dr. and nurses around and sits and lays down on command..they were amazed..sweet boy..thank you CAH!!”
“I live in South Denton and my vet wasn’t going to be in on the day I needed to bring a sneezing kitten in. They referred me to Krum Veterinary Hospital. It took 15-20 min. to get there and it’s a beautiful building. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They have a great Keurig machine which I used for a good, large cup of coffee, with coffeemate and sugar. The place was clean and cozy on a rainy day. Ok, so they do upsell a bit; they’ve got to pay for all this, but when I declined to get a “Triple Snap Blood test” for FLV/AIDS/ Heartworm, they didn’t make me get it. But they did “offer” me a $40 tube of supplement for my cat’s sneezing that I did feel compelled to buy. The office visit was $100, which is steep, but it may be because I was a new customer. Fair enough. The vet was very knowledgeable about cats, which I appreciated, and they handled Purrsy with tender loving care! Highly recommend this vet for cats!”
