I had a chip repair fail, which I was told could happen when they did the repair. Their warranty deducts the price of the repair from the windshield replacement cost. I set up the warranty repair the day before. The work order had the correct price. I signed the invoice for the correct price. After I left someone charged my card again without my signature or approval for the warranty credit. Mike called me at the end of the day to let me know about the mischarge and said I should hear from corporate in a few business days about how the money would be refunded. That was March 12. It is April 1and I have heard nothing yet. Mike said he sends in refund requests by email and it is processed in the order it is received. He has no other means to contact them. He said his district manager is in the same boat. The 877 customer service line sends me back to Mike. I am understandably unhappy and will be disputing the charges

The staff at this location are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. BETWEEN PHONE, Text and email-I received SEVEN reminders for this appointment. Bordering harassment. The rest was great.

TLDR, THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE AND JUST DENY THEY DID IT. HORRIBLE SERVICEHad a windshield on my truck replaced on site at home. The technician was nice and professional. However, the removal of my windshield took over 5 hours and required him to go to the shop and pick up another tool to help with the removal. After over 6 hours, he has my replace my windshield. I then find a LOT of chipped paint on my roof along the edge of the windshield. I take pictures and file a complaint with Safelite. They send the technician back out a few days after the initial install and he takes pictures, addresses the other issue of now hearing wind noise above 40 mph. Tells me that he will talk to his manager and have them arrange a time for me to bring the truck in to the shop to do further investigation into why I am having the wind noise.4 weeks later, no call, no email, nothing. I call Safelite and talk to someone about my lack of service and my damage. They then tell me that the damage was existing and they will not be doing anything. I explain that I have pictures from the day of the damage and pictures from 4 weeks after. The first pictures have no rust present and now have rust, so the damage couldn't have been pre-existing.I ask them to send me the inspection/check-in from the service. They send me the pictures only and the pictures they sent are from the follow up service when they came out to check on my damage complaints. You could tell they were after the windshield was replaced because the windshield did not have the f150 logo and the toll tag position. I tell them that the pictures are not from the original service, but hear nothing in response. The store manager then calls me and proceeds to tell me that it wasn't from them because if they had done it, it would be long scratches not chips. I explain that the damage was new and tell him about the no rust versus rust of the spots. He continues to deny that they are at fault and that he would have to talk to his region people, but they have already deemed it existing so nothing is gonna happen. I explained that if it was existing, his technician would have noted it on the original check-in, but they only time it was noted was on the follow up service. He says he will talk to his regional people and get back to me. He calls back the next day and just says it's existing and will not be doing anything about it.Now have to talk to my insurance to see what they want to do about it. Probably stuck cleaning up their mess because they can't accept that they chipped paint instead of scratching it.DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO HANDLE DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE. They will just deny and have no proof that it wasn't existing. Horrible service and will be happy to tell everyone how horrible this company is. Hope my insurance gets their money back.

The team at this location really went above and beyond to help me out when they really didn’t have to! They fixed a horrible window replacement another company did. Everyone on their staff were very friendly and helpful from front desk to the managers and technicians! My tech, Cody, was excellent! He walked me through what the possible issues were and what he could do to try and resolve the issue. The job was done quickly and professionally! I really appreciate everyone at this office!

The lady working the front was totally awesome especially to the elderly man who couldn’t navigate the internet! She has excellent customer service and her kindness surely went a long ways! Good job! My repair was done quickly and to my satisfaction! I will refer others for sure! ?

I can only really say two somewhat negative things about SafeLite.First, trying to schedule an appointment online was impossible. I was stuck in an infinite loop of repair/replace conundrum. Gave up and called and had to ask for help as even the phone line says they only accept online reservations.Secondly, really hard to swallow a labor bill of 159 dollars when the material cost was $9.95. Since it was my company vehicle i was not allowed to do it myself. Past times I have done it myself it took less than 15 minutes and lasted years.Come on SafeLite, your labor rate is ludicrous!Other than that, customer service in the phone and people the office were super friendly.

I'll start by saying that I have had good customer experience when getting windshield repairs and replacements at the Arlington Texas location several times in the past. The issue is that the corporate office has seen fit to route all customer calls through a central call system that uses bots to try and assist the caller. This menu system prompts the caller to use their website for scheduling and other assistance, but neither the bot nor the website will allow the customer to speak to a human to answer specific questions. In my current case, I was trying to determine if the Arlington location was able to remove, reseal and reinstall my existing power sliding rear window on my pickup truck. There is no way to get an answer to this question using the automated attendant, the website or the online chat system.I ended up making one call to my Chevrolet dealer and got them to perform the repair...I got a human to answer and the repair was scheduled and completed promptly.Sadly, I think this is yet another case of replacing people with poorly designed automation, and it's costing jobs and driving away retail customers.I do not recommend using Safelite anymore.
