505 S Palestine St, AthensI had a rescue standard poodle that was in horrible shape I tell you these people were a blessing from God almighty from the moment I walked in they were very attentive and show true concern but I want to say I believe her name is Bobbyie may have spelling wrong but she was the groomer she called me several times kept me informed I so loved that these people stayed open beyond normal business hours to make sure this standard puddle was taken care of I appreciate them so much i will definitely use them no one else and Bobbyie was such an amazing groomer went above and beyond thank you so much

Update: I continue to be thoroughly impressed by the pricing of services and professionalism of the staff here! I took my kitty cat Gravy to get spayed and to have her skin looked at for a series of bumps. She received top level care, and has healed up in 5 days! For $450, Gravy received the exam and medication, all vaccinations, a steroid shot for the skin bumps, Bravecto, and heart guard. Incredible staff and pricing. Amazing doctors with incredible correspondence. Go here if you want TOP level care.

9278 TX-31 W, AthensI have frequently found going to the vet with my dog somewhat stressful with all the dogs in the waiting room, and my dog wanting to make acquaintances by pulling on her leash, the whining, uncomfortable hard benches, concrete flooring that makes all the noise reverberate, and at times rude staff that don't acknowledge you waiting while they make unnecessary banter amongst themselves. This veterinarians office was different. I walked in with my Misha limping along side me and there was only one other furbaby parent in a small quiet waiting room. The staff was attentive and polite. The chairs were comfortable and the wait was comfortable and reasonable. My reasoning for bringing my Sharpai/boxer, 11 year old furbaby was to get a 2nd opinion from Dr. Richardson for my dog's ongoing eye irritation and paw inflammation. After a year of treatments from her previous doctor and without any appreciable progress, i was almost without hope. Getting a 2nd opinion was my last ditch effort. Dr. Richardson was kind, thoughtful in his approach, and thorough. He acquired a cytology sample that led us to a different diagnosis and we now are treating her swollen feet from a new and fact based approach. He evaluated her eye and found a small growth causing cornea irritation and has scheduled for the growth to be removed. All in all, for the first time in a year, I am hopeful that my Misha can live out her final days in comfort. Something, I had all but given up on.
Today, I feel like I found a hidden gem of Henderson county with this vet office and only regret I didn't come here sooner. If you're still reading this long review, if you like small offices that don't rush you, kind and polite staff thoughtful in their approach and treatment, thorough in their communication, look no more. Just call these guys.

305 S Prairieville St, AthensOkay so the vegan cakes here are amazing. Give them two days notice and they could make it happen- the longer advance notice the better. The best cake hands down, vegan included, is the butterrum cake with vanilla frosting. For $3 they can add writing to it. $30 for a small cake I think (it’s not actually small). The cake decorator is heavily relied on and without her, seems like orders could get backed up. I would say this is the best vegan cake I have ever had and I have had many to be honest.
It is sweet, it’s a cake but it’s moist light fluffy- amazing butterrum flavor. Just make sure to brush your teeth after.
The owners have done vegan catering for some sort of animal sanctuary or something I think they mentioned. My point is that they are experienced at vegan accommodations and know how to do them.
However, I do not really order anything else from them.
The shop is quieter so it is good for reading at. The latte is good when made by the cake decorator specifically if you don’t order sweetener. Sometimes sweetener in coffee is easy to overdo.
The five stars in this review is for the cake. It is that good. The service is five starts because they are all kind and are willing to make accommodations. Also five stars for service because the cake decorator communicated directly with me about whether they are able to take a cake order on short notice.
I came into town and unexpectedly found out I had to leave in a day rather than a week as I originally planned. I called to ask if it was possible to place an order for the cupcakes butterrum with vanilla frosting vegan for pick up the next day. The cake decorator directly told me that it was not possible due to the short notice and I loved the direction communication so much. Very professional.
She called back a few minutes later and let me know that they have a vegan butterum cake that they could ice for me and have ready for pick up the next day if I wanted a cake instead. That was also a happy turn of events.
If you’re ordering a cake at all in Athens, it really should be from here. I put my mom and dad onto this place and now they order all celebratory cakes from here.
My parents also told me that they met a couple who every year order a butterrum cake with vanilla frosting for the husband’s birthday.
