While trying to help an employee get set up with Direct Deposit, they had to verify it was the account owner. I get that! Please! Verify that it is the account holder. BUT 16 MINUTES of verification questions??? In 15 years of my career in banking, I never asked so many stupid questions to account holders. She had clearly given you information on her account that identified her as the account holder. For your representative to continue asking questions after that point seemed superfluous. She asked so many questions that had we not called them, I would have thought my employee was being scammed. Good golly! I told her that if it wasn't such a pain in the butt, I'd advise changing my financial institution. The most frustrating part is that her questions taking forever caused the system to time out, and now they are doing scheduled maintenance. What should have only taken 5 minutes has now taken over an hour. Ridiculous!

Generally I have been super happy with this financial institution. However today I went to go and withdraw cash in order to pay a contractor for work he is doing. I was told I couldn’t withdraw as much as I requested because they are low on cash since it’s the first of the month and they need to save some cash for other customers. Seriously?I don’t understand this at all. They said I could come back tomorrow and take out the rest but they didn’t know what time they were going to be ready to fill my request

I went in yesterday to withdrawal some cash to pay a contractor, they put a limit on the amount of cash I could withdrawal because they were "low on cash" since it was the first of the month and they needed to save some cash for other customers....seriously.... Your supposed to be a bank....

I have to say I just don't know what these people do. So glad I do not bank with them personally. Professionally I have to put a deposit in their bank every month and I absolutely hate going there. Doesn't matter which location... more than a half an hour to an hour of my time will be wasted for a simple deposit of a simple check. The lines are always long, I guess they wait on one person at a time, and it takes them forever to wait on that one person. I will say there are worse banks out there but for actual service this one is pretty high on the "fail" list.

This the worst place to have a car loan though. Take your business somewhere else. They charged me with a CPI and I been having insurance on my car since I got my car. I have never in my life been through so much until dealing with this company. They Not once tried to contact me about this situation or anything.. So to anyone looking please look else where, because I would hate for you to go through what I have been going through with this company; I only had my new car for 4 months now..

Always go to this bank since it's near my house, everytime I go I tell them what I want and they keep telling me all this things I already know. Told them what I was needing and told them that I know what they need to do they kept asking why and just kept wasting my time.

I made a deposit of over $900 at the W Cannon ATM. Deposit was confirmed so I drove away thinking I have money in my account. Two days later trying to make purchases my card errors insufficient funds. I check my account and notice right after I made the deposit somehow the ATM glitched and deducted the money I deposited out. I call to let them know, they tell me it was an ATM error and I have to fill out a dispute form which may take a day or two for them to balance out the ATM. I tell them I had auto drafts coming out and for them to note in my account but to charge me any overdraft fees for their mistake. Two days later still no word and I check my account, still no money and I'm being charged overdraft fees, so I call back to get a status update. Now I was told they have 10 days to review my dispute!!! It funny how it took 30 seconds for them to take MY money but takes them 10 days to give it back for their error!! I'm usually a fan of A-Plus but this is sucky customer service especially at Christmas time when money is tight.

I financed a new vehicle with A+FCU and 26 days later I tried to cash a $60 check from Citibank. I was denied because I haven't been a member for 30 days. So I'm good enough for a vehicle loan but not good enough to have a small check cashed? Unacceptable! I found another credit union, paid off my A+FCU loan and closed my account.

My wife and I have had all of our car loans and home improvement loans with A+ since we moved to Austin in 1977. They have always given us great service, low interest on loans and cheerfully provided us with misc. services like notarizing documents. I keep a savings account and an IRA with them simply out of the loyalty they have earned, even though I have been able to get slightly better interest rates with other entities every since the recession.

A+ Federal credit Union has always been there to give me the best service in town. The rates are always competitive and I like the small-town feel of a credit union versus a regular bank. The location is convenient in Oak Hill parking is easy in and out.

Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I have never had anything but a good experience there.
