Bad customer service , they only did a road test on my vehicle, never called me to pickup my vehicle, I had to called them before they closed to get my vehicle, told me they couldn't plug there scan tool up to the( obd port ) because there was something plug in it (( they could of unplugged it ,)) he couldn't even explain when I asked what was wrong with it (( in detail )) just oh it's slipping, your gonna need a complete rebuild. Then he said I'll call you tomorrow and give you an estimate which I never got the call. They need new management there and someone with professional skills in customer service. I ended up going somewhere else and got a way better experience (( worry free )) step by step of what was going on with my vehicle and my recommendations on what to do . Would not recommend stassney location.

Thank you Colton and team! After a month of waiting around and calling GMC to get a transmission for our Chevy Colorado it was not possible with them. You all made this very easy on me, from the minute I made the appointment to the day we received our truck back. Will definitely be back!

I had an outstanding experience at AAMCO. After my car started making strange noises, I took it in for an inspection, and the team was incredibly thorough in diagnosing the problem. They were transparent about the issue and provided a clear, detailed explanation of what needed to be fixed and why.
The customer service was top-notch – everyone was friendly, professional, and really took the time to answer all my questions. They didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services, which I really appreciated.
I’m so glad I found this shop, and I’ll definitely be coming back for any future repairs or maintenance. I highly recommend AAMCO on Stassney Ln to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and efficient car repair shop.

After having an absolutely terrible experience at the Infinity dealership (feel free to read my fun review there!), I brought my 2014 Infiniti Qx60 to AAMCO with a literal 20K list of repairs from the dealership, including a $10,500 transmission and $8,000 transfer case repair. After they actually did a THOROUGH inspection, they found I only needed a new transmission and not all of the other garbage the dealership wanted to rob me for. AAMCO diligently and patiently worked with my awful extended warranty, but we did get them to cover most of the repair! They did not overcharge me, and they did a spectacular job! We ended up swapping out cars and having them do some repairs on our Kia, we were so happy with their service.
Colton is absolutely THE BEST!!!! He is funny, honest, transparent, and he will treat you like family. In fact, I feel like we all are family! I will 100% be bringing all of my vehicles here in the future, and so should you! Ten stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do not trust this AAMCO location!
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this mechanic and would not recommend them to anyone. My car had been having trouble starting, so I took it in to AAMCO hoping to get it fixed. They told me that nothing was wrong with my car and sent me on my way without addressing the issue.
However, the worst part of the experience came when I went to pick up my car. The mechanic told me he would leave my keys in the car, but when I arrived, the car was locked. I had to call a locksmith to unlock it, only to find out the keys weren’t even inside the car. This was completely avoidable if the mechanic had simply communicated that he forgot to leave the keys, but he didn’t.
To make matters worse, the parking lot was so small that I couldn’t even get a tow truck in to help me. I had to keep calling for updates on my car, and the mechanic was rude and unhelpful throughout the whole process. No apologies, no accountability. It felt like I was just an inconvenience to them.
Now I’m left with a car that’s still unreliable, and I feel like I’m driving a ticking time bomb. I have no confidence that my car won’t break down at any moment. Avoid this AAMCO location at all costs. The lack of communication, customer service, and professionalism is unacceptable.

Good to know they" only hire experience":) if we ever need their " expertise" in the future we will certainly start there....nothing else to rate due to no " transportation" just going off the Atmosphere of Knowledgeable Mechanics

We can't thank Alex and his team enough for his evaluation after we were told by another shop that our transmission was shot. Including Covert Chevrolet in Hutto denying warranty coverage for a truck with less then 60K miles. Alex and his team determined that they could not find the problem both stipulated and denied. His and Aamco's recognition and appreciation of our Son's Disabled Combat Veteran status and determination to help us to not spend money we did not need too is well appreciated.
We feel a sense of trust regardless of what develops in the future but feel confident to be driving the vehicle knowing we have someone in our corner.

In my opinion it is a good place, the staff is very friendly and they are bilingual.
The service is better than I expected...I give them 5 stars, I highly recommend it.
