I had convinced myself I had a head gasket issue on top of everything else going on with my car, they had every opportunity to rip me off but instead choose to be honest and straightforward about what was going on with my car, they were able to explain in full technical detail what was going on in a way that was easily understood. The pricing here is very fair and the work done is high quality

They were efficient letting me know what the diagnosis was. Explained it all to me so I understood what was needed to be repaired. They worked with me on my time schedule and I’m very satisfied with the work performed. If you are looking for mechanics that are trustworthy this is the place to come.

Over paid to have transportation rebuilt. 18 month warranty transmission went out in 20 months! I suspect they didn't actually fully rebuild like they changed me for. I don't run the pickup hard just normal driving.

Alex was super friendly and helpful to work with. He was upfront and honest on what needed to be done. As well as educating me on what my vehicle specifically needed. Turnaround time was super quick, same day. Plus it was nice having a sweet shop pup to love on in the waiting room.

Had to pay another mechanic to find what they left unplugged they didn't put it back together or tightenIt cost money and time to get my truck towed and get Uber to take me to pick it upTheychanged out my radiator and gave it back with engine light on 100 plus degree weatherIt wasn't running right in the air conditioner was blowing hot I called and asked when why my engine light was on so I took it to another mechanic you showed me what they gave me backThe new radiator leaksFinding:The radiator is leaking at the passenger side where the plastic mates with the aluminum. I verified that the upper hose isn't leaking and dripping down. I suggest replacing the radiator. Video addedThe customer complained that he had to fill the radiator a lot. I pressurized the system and found a leak at the connector where the lower radiator hose goes into the thermostat housing. I tightened the hose clamp and the leak stopped. I also tightened all the other adjustable clamps. I suggest replacing the adjustable clamps with constant pressure hose clamps.Finding:The check engine light was on, and there were two codes in the system. P0102 mass airflow sensor circuit low. P0113 intake, air temperature sensor circuit low.Finding:The customer was concerned about a check engine, light, and that the AC would go from cold to ambient air. 100 degrees The codes were for a mass airflow sensor issue. I found that the sensor was unplugged and when I plugged it in it worked normally. I also found a broken vacuum line going to the heater. Core coolant shut off valve. I fix that line and the AC did not shut off at that point.I can only drive my truck about 100 miles each way and my reservoir for the coolant will be completely empty cuz they left me with some kind of leakDriving in hundred plus degree weather with no air conditioner almost gave me heat exhaustionWhatever else they left undone that's leaking my antifreeze out I need it fixed

Highly recommend! Alex was very informative and straight forward with the process. Fair in representing the diagnosis and took the time to explain to me what was going on.

Came here after a diagnosis from a Ford dealership noted a transmission bearing was failing in my car. The dealership quoted me triple the car's value to repair, which would involve a transmission replacement. Called on a Thursday and talked to Alex, really just hoping to get a better quote, but he said he'd need to see the car and read the serial number of the transmission to give an accurate quote, but that he could take a look the next day if I could get there early. Instead, I scheduled for the next Monday at 9am. I arrived on time, talked with Alex, told him what the dealership said, what I'd noticed while driving, and that I wanted to get a quote. One of his tech comes into the office at that point with an update for another customer's vehicle. Then Alex filled him in on my situation, and after some back and forth suggested we do a diagnostic first, and had the tech start with diagnostics on my transmission. An hour and a half later, the technician was back with results: no issues detected with the transmission via drive test and stethoscope, but he did note my alignment was pretty far off in the front and causing uneven wear on my front tires. Then he took out his phone showed me detailed photos of the tire wear. Obviously off. He then recommended a place nearby for alignments that their customers had reported good experiences with. Then Alex gave me my keys back and said "Have a nice day." No charge. I can only speak from this experience, but comparing it to literally every other auto service business interaction I've had, it HANDILY takes the cake. I got a very no-nonsense, honest and competent vibe from start to finish. Alex and the tech I spoke with (wish I'd gotten his name too, he was great!) listened to me, asked pointed questions, got right to work (at the agreed upon appointment time, which I know is tough for busy shops), took the time to actually show me and talk through their findings, and didn't charge me anything. I almost want one of our vehicles to have a legit transmission issue at this point just so I can spend some money here! Will definitely be sending anyone in my circles here if anything comes up.

I took my car there for insurance repairs. The estimate for the repairs was $2700. The insurance company would only pay $800 of that amount. I approved the repair of both the front and rear motor mounts. After picking up my vehicle I noticed an extreme vibration coming from the front end. I thought maybe there was a break in period so I drove it for a couple of days. When nothing changed I brought the vibration to the attention of Alex (manager). They kept the car another day then told me the side mounts needed to be replaced. Keep this in mind. They make no mention in their estimate that those mounts needed replacing. They all of a sudden are the cause of the vibration. Two different mechanics with only seeing and hearing the vibration said it was the motor mounts. After telling them that both the front and rear had just been replaced both said the same thing, cheap mounts were installed. AAMCO has refused to honor their warranty. They want me to pay for other shops to put it in writing that the motor mounts are cheap. The only other shops I will involve is the Better Business Bureau and my local precinct Small Claims court. If you take your car to AAMCO know that they say they use OEM parts when in fact they use the cheapest parts available to maximize profit.

First spoke with Michael one of mechanics and then Alex manager. Described in detail with a video of my coolant system leak and they did not charge for under the hood assessment of work needed. They informed me specifically what needed to be repaired and the parts needed. Performed the repair work next day and my vehicle was completed by Noon that day. Saved me money, by only replacing what was necessary instead of the entire Heating/Coolant System Assembly. Thank you very much for a timely & excellent repair on my vehicle. I am on the road again with no leaks and a safe ride.Service: Engine repair

Some communication could have changed my situation completely. Told car should be ready by this past Wed but would depend on part availability. Call Mon afternoon to verify if there was any issue getting said parts so I can plan my week and told no issues but now it's maybe Wed, Thu at the latest. Hear nothing so call Wed afternoon now told Thu for sure Fri at the latest. Well here we are Thursday 5pm and still no update. Feel like I'm being punished for simply calling for some kind of update. If I'm spending 4k+ I don't see the ask is unreasonable to have at least one update where I'm the one called. Looks like I'll be without my car for the weekend and now have more appts to cancel.Service: Transmission

I took my car in multiple times for the same issue- A/C not cooling. The first time, they replaced the serpentine belt, gave it a recharge and fixed a leak. The second time, they recharged the A/C and found a new leak which they "repaired." Third time, they recharged it for free.$800+ later, my A/C is again not cooling very well and my new belt has never stopped squealing which is pretty embarrassing to be honest. They asked me to leave it overnight for the squealing belt and I couldn't because- work.I decided to take matters in my own hands and start small with changing out the air cabin filter- there was none. I had been driving with no filter! Actually putting one in helped a little. Next step is recharging it myself with A/C Pro and imagine my surprise when the low pressure cap is straight up missing. These are just a few things I would expect a well-known company to check, replace and be part of that $800+ to fix.2 stars only because there was a temporary fix, but my belt still squeals and my A/C clearly isn't fixed.
