Action Pawn at this location is absolutely untrustworthy. They were in possession of my stolen electric unicycle (EUC) and handled the entire situation terribly. Management was dismissive, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. They even lied to potential buyers, claiming they were selling it for “a friend,” instead of verifying whether the item was stolen.
The shop didn’t record the make, model, or serial number — which is a major red flag for any pawn operation. According to Round Rock PD, the Round Rock Action Pawn locations usually cooperate well, but the Austin Action Pawn stores have a reputation for shady practices — and my experience confirms it.
Despite having an active police report number, this location refused to place the item on hold as required by policy and law. Instead, they tried to sell it as quickly as possible, even lowering the price to move it before the police arrived. Fortunately, members of the EUC community recognized my wheel from its custom stickers and contacted me through Facebook.
Another buyer drove over three hours after they lied to him about the product — when he arrived, he could tell something wasn’t right. They didn’t even have a charger for it because it was stolen from me, and I still had it.
Do not trust this store or buy anything from this location. They do not follow Action Pawn’s own corporate protocols or the law, and they are clearly willing to turn a blind eye to stolen goods. This location is not run by honest people.

I was there last week looking for jewelry, found a bunch of nice stuff, a young lady Idalia was the best with their customer service. Will definitely return to more jewelry!

This place sign into my gaming console and trade valuable stuff on there and now I can't get back smh instead of helping me . They where on the phone ordering food and under paid me as well be careful taking ur gaming stuff there. They will go through your gaming information and trade stuff on there and erase there transactions...

Do not come to this pawn shop their scales are rigged they underpay you way under what any other pawn shop would pay you I've been to a lot of pawn shops in Austin for very many years this is one the worst that has been around for about a year they are not your friends they are there to rip you off check all the other pawn shops first before you go to them and then you'll see , that my words are true. If you want a decent and Fair deal , go to the pawn shop across from HEB, and get a good deal and you won't get ripped off!

I would give them a negative 100 if I could. The girl with face tats should know how to do tech stuff. Lame excuses I hear. Also the Jordan's I had were brand new from this month. You don't know your stuff so please don't go here ever.

Great spot to buy junk at 3x markup. They also do not honor terms for their protection plan for items purchased. Check out other shops nearby and save yourself a whole mess of potential problems and complications.
