My battery was leaking. It was still under warranty. Young guy at the counter said he couldn't warranty it because in theory anyone can punch a hole in a battery. There wasn't an obvious hole and I assure you I didn't punch a hole in my battery. He was trying to sale us another battery at full price. No thank you. Advance Auto Parts Kodak just lost a loyal customer.

I called the store at 7:30 AM to inquire about buying a car battery at lunch hour. I was told battery was in stock. I had noticed that the online description had professional installation listed but also free battery installation at store. I inquired from person on phone call if they could install and I was assured that they could. I arrive and was told they cannot install the battery because it required professional installation. I was more than a bit put out because if had I been told that at 7:30 AM when I first called, I could have scheduled an appointment elsewhere. Luckily, I found a professional battery seller on my phone who put me their queue and it was $40 dollars cheaper. Buyer beware.

A few weeks back went in here to buy some headlight bulbs for my car and the woman behind the counter was extremely rude and acted like I was a bother to her. Went back in there today with my wife to find some accessories for her new car and as we are looking around a older woman came in and went to the register where the rude lady was and she was very rude and impatient with the woman. She kept cutting the older lady off every time she spoke instead of explaining to the woman she was talking to her like stupid. Me and my wife walked out without looking anymore. This is a serious issue apparently because I'm not the first person to review a similar situation. This review will be copied to corporate office email as well.

Went to the Advance Auto here in Kodak. Had to be the rudest acting women ever working the register. Wish I had gotten her name. She wasn’t wearing a visible name tag. Store was nice and they had what I was looking for, but employ attitude is big for me!
