** This company took care of all the issues!! I would definitely use them again!!!Did I love the vacation we had? Yes! Was I 100% satisfied with the camper? Unfortunately not.First, I want to say our interaction with the company has been pleasant and I really like the guy who helped us. There were just a lot of little maintenance issues that weren’t taken care of before we rented the unit. The sink didn’t work, the leveling system didn’t work, windows were taped shut, the door had been dented, making it hard to keep the door shut….The more frustrating thing was, as we drove off we realized the gas was NOT filled (picture attached). We had maybe half a tank. And you know how expensive it is to fill an RV… my husband filled the RV before he returned it and explained the issue when he returned the unit but I haven’t seen a refund yet.Our original plan was to drive over our allotted mileage limit but plans changed. I paid for the extra mileage before knowing this and that also hasn’t been reimbursed. My husband was told to leave a review before anything could be done. So here is my review. I will change it to update if anything has been changed. We paid a lot of money to not have things work well.

We rented a Class B (camper van) to take out to Big Bend NP and had a great experience w/ American Dream Vacations. The van was easy to drive (my hubby was the driver, but said it was great), snap to park and kept was cozy when the temps dropped overnight. We comfortably slept 4. Just about everything we needed (other than sleeping bags/bedding) was provided. Mike, the manager, was very friendly and helpful! Thanks for helping us create amazing memories!

We were first time RV’ers and went with the 25ft Delano. We really enjoyed the rig and found it easy to jump into. We went over 4000 miles and it held up great with no issues for our whole trip. It was spacious for 2 of us and our dog and our belongings. The furnishings were comfortable and utility lines worked great. We had many questions and called a number of times and the folks on site helped answer our questions clearly. We got an overview of the rig before we left which helped answer most of our questions. Overall it was a great experience and would go back next time we look to rent an RV!

We rent an RV every year for the F1 race in Austin. This year we decided to save on time and gas, so we drove our personal vehicle down from Michigan. I booked months in advance without any issue. I called and check in a few time over the few months the customer service was great. RV was clean and everything work as expected. I asked for an early pick up it was not problem. Over all I would rent again next year. Best way to experience the race weekend.

I recently purchased a 2019 Winnebago Motorhome and took it to RV to American Dream Vacations to have a number of items upgraded including the suspension, sound system and have an air horn added. It was about $20K of work. To say the work was shoddy would be generous. Here are a few of the issues I noted after the work was "completed":1. I had a dash camera in the unit when I dropped it off at the dealership. The camera was apparently stolen by an employee at the dealership.2. I was charged for "topping off" my fuel and propane yet both were only at 75% when I picked the unit up.3. I was charged $140 for an alignment but after driving the RV a few miles I noted it was not handling correctly. I took it to an alignment shop and was told it still needed an alignment. 4. I had an "Air Horn" installed at a cost of almost $2K. Shortly afterwards I lifted the engine cover to check my oil and noted that the air horn was not properly secured to the chassis and was literally dangling under the hood. 5. I had the dealership install a stereo amplifier in the RV. The dealership rewired the power source and now the unit stays on all the time, even after i turn off all accessories in the RV. This resulted in the battery going flat almost immediately after I picked the unit up. Fortunately my RV has a switch to shut the battery down so that will be my stopgap until I have it wired correctly. There were additional issues with the RV but the owner of the shop (Trenton) wasn't willing to address/rectify anything I brought to his attention. The really amazing thing is that i let American Family Vacations sell my previous RV on consignment and they made $40K after only having my prior RV on their lot for less than 60 days.I don't typically write reviews, but this experience warrants a response, especially given the amount of money involved. I strongly recommend anyone considering patronizing this business to seek out other vendors.

The team at American Dream Vacations was very helpful and professional with the couple of issues I ran into with the RV I rented. It was nothing too serious and didn't stop me from enjoying my first time renting an RV. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again!

Overall not bad experience. Bought a camper they had a consignment on. Speakers on the camper did not work so they ordered me some, however they ordered the wrong ones. So now I have to send back to dealership and I guess they will send money. I found exact speakers I needed on first search on Amazon. Just a bit of not caring I would guess.

We had a good experience with these guys. Our initial contact was through the Outdorsey app then I was directed to their website. That’s not typical with Outdorsey but the reviews were decent & communication was professional so we went with them. In the past I’ve rented directly from the owner so this was a first through a dealer. What we rented was someone’s RV managed by these guys. While the RV delivery and pick up at my residence was seamless and simple I would recommend going to see them in person and decide if another RV might be a better on pick up day. While the RV was brand new it had a handful of minor Issues. I’m not sure I would have selected anything different and enjoyed the RV but they have multiple options and if there are issues with your reservation they’ll accommodate you. Either way these guys are super cool and handle everything professionally. We had the propane gauge reading 50% when it was really empty. A technician called on NYE day to help troubleshoot and we were able to fill up at Ace Hardware… nice to get assistance on a holiday weekend.

We rented a 24' Class C Sprinter from American Dream Vacations for a one week "lets see if RVing is for us" vacation. I highly recommend this approach if you are thinking of buying an RV as we learned so much from this trip, and I'm certain that if we do buy we will more than save the cost of this first trip. First thing to know is that modern RV coaches are nothing like the ones I knew growing up. All of the systems are easy to use, an MB Sprinter is comfortable and easy to drive, and if you do have problems there's always someone there to help along the way. Also YouTube is your friend! American Dream is a great place to rent as the coach we rented is actually privately owned and not out of a fleet. It was almost brand new and didn't look like a moving billboard going down the road. Check-in and checkout were easy and quick, and they allow you to leave your personal vehicle on site while you are renting. I do wish they would consider charging generator time by the hour or day and not by the rental. In our case we only needed a generator one time on the trip, but we would have had to pay for a week of usage had we turned it on. All in all we were very satisfied with our rental and our 1 week trip. If we do buy we will definitely consider allowing American Dream to rent our coach to others when we are not using it.

It was a great rental experience. They are easy to work with. Good communication, during working hours, both before and during rental. Looked at many options for an RV over Christmas and they had a good selection (I booked several months in advance). They also didn’t have a lot of hidden fees. It was very clear what the cost would be online. So clear that I was nervous, thinking there had to be a a catch. I called and spoke in person to get the details. It was as simple as the website made it.On return our contract did not change, no additional fees. They do a video before rental and after. Which worked to our advantage. There was a missing cap when we returned that we were unaware of and on review the before video had it missing as well so we were not held responsible. We did have an issue with the water pump in RV. It was frustrating but out of control of ADV. They contacted us “during working hours” to help us troubleshoot and make sure we had assistance. We had left message off hours on holiday weekend. They were clear when we picked up RV about availability only during working hours so when we had an issue on Christmas Eve we knew we had to wait till Monday. They returned our call promptly.Return was super simple, especially because we opted for upgrade of cleaning and dump fee in advance! I would not hesitate to rent from ADV again. It was a good experience and Mike and Billy were helpful and professional. Thank you.

Great experience! We took our first RV trip from Austin Texas to Spencer Tennessee, 2500k mile round trip and ADV made the process quick and easy. They were conveniently located so our pick up and drop off was fast. Will be renting from them again!

I got a camping spot for the Formula 1 race and planned on renting an RV to attend. I searched on both RV Share and Cruise America, and they were either too expensive or had too many hidden fees, side charges and restrictions about where you could take it.ADV was the best in between I was able to find, reasonable rates and not a lot of conditions with asterisks. I found a good sized class C (there was a huge selection) and booked it about 2 months before the race. Two weeks before my trip, I got a call from them and they said the Class C RV I had reserved had some issues with it and would be unavailable, so they upgraded me to a better model at no additional charge.Pick up was easy, not even 10 minutes from the airport, and less than that from COTA. Billy and his wonderful dog Chewy were extremely friendly and a huge help! RV was very clean, I was given a very thorough lesson on how to work everything and I was off! Never had any issues at the track, I had plenty of literature to keep me informed if I ever hit a snag and they were only a phone call away.I also ended up having to turn it in a little early, but with Billy it was no problem. Turning everything in was a breeze (I have heard horror stories about renting RV's, and its usually always on the turn in day), with no surprise 'gotcha' charges. All in all, I would highly recommend going with ADV when renting an RV because they have outstanding customer service, an large selection, and a really cool dog named Chewy.

Mike, was very helpful with the whole process from phone conversations to checking in and out. There was also some concerns during our return and he addressed them accordingly.
