Useless for returning my online order. Had no solution for my return and pointed me to dealing with it myself. Gave me store merchandise credit one day, and said they couldn’t even do that the next for the rest of my return

American Eagle was okay, but Elyssa was the best at customer service and you are lucky to have her. The entire time she made sure I was not only taken care of but CONFIDENT as well. That is the true value in customer service. Everyone can suggest clothing and wait on you, but Elyssa made sure I felt good and sure in what I was buying. You won’t find another like her, so PLEASE give her a raise or some type of compensation for her extra work. Whatever you are paying her, it isn’t enough. If you do not, you clearly don’t care about your employees and I hope she goes somewhere else where she is more appreciated.

I went there to have a look at the collection, a lot of stuff was on sale, finally got a good vest top (denim) and a shirt for my husband for about 50% off. We went for a size change as my husband did not feel the size I got was comfortable, but they did not have it, so they instead said that they’ll send it online. Hopefully it arrives soon as it has already been 5 days.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a retail store. Edith and Elana were so helpful and patient to help me find a gift for my wife. Above and beyond customer service. I am leaving with a lasting positive impression of American Eagle as a brand because of them. Thanks again!

Worst retail experience of my life. All I wanted to do was return an online order I made that did not fit and the associates refused to complete my return unless I signed up for the rewards program first. When confronted, they claimed it was a 'policy' for loss prevention which made me feel like they were claiming I was committing fraud for not wanting to provide my personal information to AE even though they already had my information from when I placed the online order....Anyways, don't frequent this store if you want to be provided even a tiny amount of customer service because the associates certainly don't have any to offer.
