I enjoyed my membership at Anytime Fitness Four Points while I lived in Austin. The gym was clean, convenient, and the equipment met my needs. However, my experience trying to cancel has been extremely frustrating.
When I moved out of town in May, I tried to cancel my membership by calling the gym and leaving multiple voicemails - no one ever called me back. So I visited in person several times, hoping to speak with Alex. When I finally caught him, he took down my name and email and promised to send a cancellation confirmation. I never received it.
I returned to the gym again, spoke with Alex a second time, and he reassured me that it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. After moving out of state, I discovered I was still being charged for June and July. I had to dispute the charges with my bank and stop the recurring payment.
Only after that did I finally hear from Anytime Fitness billing. When I explained the situation, they claimed they had no record of my cancellation - which, of course, makes sense since it was never properly processed by staff. I was told once again to contact Alex, which I explained I had already tried (twice). They said they would look into it. I’m still waiting for a resolution.
It's disappointing that the cancellation process is so disorganized, especially when everything else about my time there was positive. I hope they improve communication and follow-through in the future. Members moving out of town shouldn't have to chase staff down or deal with surprise charges.

Happy to remove the one star review once you cancel my membership. I canceled in person and thought I was good until I noticed 2 more charges. I called and was told those would be refunded. I’ve now been charged 4 more times and Corporate says there is nothing they can do. You must cancel with the individual gym and now they don’t seem to be taking calls.
See reviews below. Same issue canceling. Repeat offender. Not nice.

Anytime Fitness is a great neighborhood gym. It’s not a large gym but has everything you need! Alex the owner is very accommodating and he does personal training sessions as well. The monthly fees are competitive to the other gyms in the area. You can do month to month or a yearly contract that converts to monthly once the year is up.

I love this fitness center because it has everything I need - cardio equipment, free weights and machines. I have been in early and later in the day throughout the week and the weekend and have never had a problem waiting to get my workout done. The bathrooms are kept clean, there are always sprays/towels to clean the equipment, and sanitizer to use on the way out. The owner is on site regularly and is helpful. I have been here since January 2025 and plan to keep my membership for a long time.

So far so good. I am very new to this gym but so far I'm loving the convenience. It is a smaller gym but I have been late morning and it is not busy at all. VERY clean. I love the convenience of being able to use any Anytime fitness as well.

The worst gym possible,
They charge me $200 and on top of that I've stopped by three times on three different days to get my key fob just for no one to be in the office.
My advice find a different gym that is professionally ran.

I've tried to look at this location for about a week now, I call and am sent to voice-mail. What a trash establishment, 40 a month for 200sq ft? No thanks. Can they please build a Planet Fitness by Steiner Ranch?

I transferred to this gym when I moved. The size is perfect, they have great equipment, and it’s rarely crowded. The location was a bit far from my house. I asked the owner about canceling although I signed a contract at my last location. He was very helpful and allowed me to cancel despite having signed a 2 year contract!

I go here for the trainer, Alex. The facility is small but not crowded and noisy like the bigger gyms. Alex is helping to get back my strength and balance to be prepared for my travels

Will never be returning to this location. In short, over two weeks' time, no staff member ever answered the phone or returned my voicemail requesting a tour/membership information. I visited the location in person, during their staffed hours, and wasn't able to meet with (or even see) any employee. It's clear they don't maintain their posted staffed schedule. After finally getting someone to respond via email, and confirming a date/time for a tour, no staff were present and it was a complete waste of my time. I stood outside ringing the doorbell, calling the phone line and no one arrived. I've yet to receive a response back via email about the missed appointment. Really terrible customer service.
