The quality of the mani pedi was good. I left feeling disrespected. I won’t return to this salon. Even if they weren’t mocking me, I felt like they were. They are pretty rude here.

It's a shame when people can do really great work but are just plain rude. There was another review about this place saying for black women to save themselves the trip and the embarrassment and I definitely agree. I am bilingual, but I don't speak Vietnamese but being bilingual I know when people are trash talking in another language and laughing at me. It was very clear the ladies had a problem between each other of who would service me, but one settled and was rude the whole time. They were chatty and talkative with white clients but with me no conversation at all or asking me what I wanted. I would love to return but the rudeness is not worth it. I hate to brand some experiences as racist because the word is thrown around like crazy but this experience was trash. They also make up prices and the ladies are mean.

This real rating of The Arboretum Nails and Spa deserves a zero. I don’t enjoy reviews like this, but if it’ll help the next black person from shame and embarrassment, I’ll proceed.
Black people, do not go here. I made it to this place at 5pm sharp after work. I took a seat and waited to be greeted. Eleven minutes later, a worker came to the front to check a customer out and walked off. I still wasn’t politely greeted. There was no one waiting in front of me, or at all for that matter. I sat a bit more, then I walked to my car to leave.
The lady who walked out to my car to stop me-I perceived to be the owner says, “come back in, I’ll take care of you!” She tells me to pick my color and go to the first massage chair.
The worker sitting beside me was finishing up another customer. Although speaking another language, the charge lady points my direction for the worker to assist me. More words were exchanged between the two ladies , and the worker shook her head no and proceeded to the back.
The lady in charge says, “It’s ok she’ll be back.” Five minutes later I was offered a bottle of water. I uncomfortably sat there between 10-12 minutes waiting as I realized they didn’t want to service me there. As I’m putting my shoes on getting ready to leave, the charge lady is saying, “ma’am hang on wait.” At that point I was very fed up and uncomfortable. This place should be should ashamed of their hospitality and treatment. I was the only black lady in there and didn’t receive so much as a “hello, we will be with you soon.” Black people, save yourself the trip.

I went on a Saturday for a pedicure, they were busy but I got seated quick, which I thought was nice. The woman filled up the tub with water and then left, nowhere to be found. I sat there for about 30 minutes, water now cold, before someone finally came to do my service. And when she did, she wouldn't stop talking about how I had clipped my nails crooked, how my toes were gross because some of my spray tan seeped onto my nail bed, all while trying to upsell me on a manicure at the same time! Not to mention, her cuticle work HURT and left my toes red even still as I'm typing this, almost 12 hours later. I also noticed they offer drinks, but apparently don't offer them like that, because nobody in this busy place had one. I was offered one (I assume because of the long wait) but I honestly thought they didn't serve any because literally no one else had one. I've been to many spas and I always see 90% of people with a drink. I just thought that was weird. On the bright side, I don't know what kind of wine they had, but I got a nice buzz, kind of unusual for me after just 1. Idk, maybe the lady slipped something in it so I wouldn't notice the horrible service they were providing. I won't be returning.

Requested style: Asked for the dip and got so so much more!!!!
Cleanliness: The facility is absolutely beautiful inside and out, you can really tell how much they love the job and their place.
Stylist: Katie (kay) she was AMAZING! She made my nails flawless and not only that but absolutely made sure to perfect them to. I could tell she put alot of care into my nails and made sure they came out looking so gorgeous and even! She did such a stunning job and I can't thank her enough!
Her personality was amazing, throughout the whole process she was absolutely kind, amazing and so so so so sweet!
Thank you Kay! I can't wait to come back with friends~

Tammy is the absolute BEST!! The entire salon is so warm and welcoming, everyone there does such great work! They play the best movies too. I've been coming here every month for over a year and a half, I would never go anywhere else! ❤️
