One of the greatest customer service, and quality workmanship, we have ever experienced. We bought 4 Banksy canvases and had them "stretched and framed" by N absolute fraud, 3 of the 4 were ruined - so we reached out to Art direct. From minute one, til they hung out beautifully framed and stretched canvases, we were made to feel heard, valued and loved. If I could give them 10 Stars I would ♥️Thank you so, so much. Photos attached ♥️

My first contact with Art Direct was fantastic. May was so patient and helpful while we worked through determining what we needed and how to solve our unique situation. I brought in an oil painting my elderly mother purchased in Paris while our family was stationed in Europe years ago. The painting has been with our family since the 1960's. My issue was with the ornate frame I think was custom made for the painting. My daughter's cat (evidently) thought it could jump (and stand) on the top of the frame knocking the painting and frame to the floor. Thankfully, the painting was not damaged but the frame was. I thought the frame was totalled but May, acknowledging my sentimental desire to preserve the painting and frame as a "unit", offered to attempt restoration of the frame as a "plan A" solution. "Plan B" will be a custom frame chosen from the extensive frame choices available at Art Direct. I will follow up with an additional review after all is said and done, but based upon our initial impression we have every confidence the end result will be 1st class. We certainly felt pampered by May's above and beyond approach to customer service. As of now I couldn't be happier with Art Direct.

DAMAGED MY PAINTING!!!01/05/23 Update: Brent reached out to me again and has found a third party art restorer to fix my painting. I'm updating my review to a 3-star since the painting isn't actually fixed yet, but things are looking promising.-------------------12/20/22 Update: I'm going to respond to the Art Direct Team here in the review so that the interaction is publicly visible.Art Direct Team, I hear what you're saying about this not being an uncommon issue when stretching oil paintings. I was not warned that this was even a possibility, let alone something you all expected to happen. If I had known that stretching the canvas could damage the paint, I absolutely would not have paid for the service. But more than that, I'm really mad that you seem to be trying to minimize my frustration with what happened. I brought my painting to you, trusting that you were experts and would handle the painting with care. If this damage had been done to a Rembrandt or a Picasso would you still be trying to say "oh that's just normal"?If I took my car in for an oil change, and they brought back my car with fresh oil and 4 punctured tires, I would expect them to fix the tires that were damaged while the vehicle is in their care.I understand that you are trying to "fix" it by having your employees try to add paint on to the canvas to attempt to restore it to original condition, but the damage has already been done, the painting has lost significant value, even if restored. But more than that, your employees are the ones who damaged the painting in the first place. I do not want to bring my painting in to have them damage it and devalue it even further. I am OK with the restoration solution, but I am unwilling to have your employees touch the painting again. If you would be willing to pay for an independent, third-part art restorer to fix the damage you've done, I am open to that, but I am just not willing to leave my painting with the same people who ruined it in the first place.---------------------I took an oil painting in to be stretched. They stretched it and split the paint along several of the edges. There are chips missing. They offered me a 10% discount on the cost of stretching or to have their "in house expert" see if there was anything they could do (your "experts" already damaged it, why would I want them damaging it further?).They didn't even notice the damage and I had to point it out to them (or they did and were trying to be shady and hope I didn't notice). They then tried to explain to me repeatedly that this is totally normal and I shouldn't be upset about it. If it's so normal, then I should have been warned BEFORE stretching the canvas. I paid $200 to have my painting ruined.I should have taken it as a red flag when I took the painting in and the salesperson kept poking at it with bare fingers. I mean I know an oil painting isn't the most fragile thing in the world, but I'd wear gloves if I was handling someone else's art and I would expect as much from a business.DO NOT TAKE YOUR PAINTINGS HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM RUINED!

I cannot say enough positive things about Art Direct and the experience I had there! My friend had designed a custom piece of artwork that she told me to have printed on metal using dye sublimation. After calling almost 10 other places and being told "it wasn't possible" and "I'd never find anyone in Austin to do it" my 11th call was fortunately to Brent at Art Direct who told me immediately that not only could they do it but that they were excited to create this piece for me!!Brent, Demi and all the other staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I felt like they cared about the piece as much as I did. The piece was completed quickly and they even delivered it to my house! I would ABSOLUTELY use them again and you should too!

I'm super excited about my new office gallery wall and especially my beautiful prints from Art Direct! (The four large 16x20s and the floral 8x10 at the top were all printed by Art Direct.) I highly recommend these guys and had to come give them a shout out! I worked with Brent and had an amazing customer experience. He was super responsive and everything happened just as promised/expected.I was able to pick up the prints in Cedar Park within a few days (they also have a location on Anderson Lane). I highly recommend!

Fantastic work! We acquired an oil painting on canvas in Europe, rolled it and brought it home to Austin. We also had a few lithographs. We took them to Art Direct to stretch the canvas and add a nice frame, and mount the lithographs with glass and matte. The Art Direct location had a lot of different frames to choose from and the staff was very helpful. This was an expect craftsmanship, I can highly recommend them.

Art Direct is amazing, Brent and Demi went above and beyond for me. I had artwork framed at a different studio that was uneven, and they fixed it for me with the utmost care and precision. They were kind, understanding, flexible, and thorough when consulting with me and explaining their processes. I'm so happy with the results!
