Although the aquarium can become busy quickly, it is a highly recommended stop for visitors to Austin, offering a great way to spend the day with the family and interact with the well-cared-for animals.

Our tour guide, Hailey, was insightful and fun! Belle (Brandy) is amazing! She's so kind and truly plays the part. The mermaid is wonderful. Reese, one of the crew members, is also very sweet. The aquarium is super fun with a lot of hands on experiences.

The dedication these caretakers have to these animals is unmatched. Every visit I make here gets better. If you haven’t had a chance to see the new Sailfin dragon YOU ARE MISSING OUT. Such a cool lizard. Austin Aquarium is a mandatory visit for anybody visiting Austin from out of town.
