Great group of people with a lot of energy, love, and diversity. I really enjoyed my time here, but unfortunately have to move further North. The only drawback for me was the price and lack of flexibility with booking classes and being charged, but then again I understand the policy just found it to be annoying and not suitable for my lifestyle. I want extreme flexibility with my gym and whatever membership I have because sometimes I just need a break and I don't want to be penalized for changing my mind.

Absolutely love this place- it’s become a second home to me. The coaches here are amazing - not only do they push me to do my best and get me to do things I didn’t think I could but they are always so patient and really take the time to help me improve on my boxing and conditioning/weight lifting techniques while keeping things fun. The rest of the members are awesome as well which makes this community so special. Everyone is super supportive regardless of what level you’re at and this environment motivates you to come and try your best each class knowing that nobody is judging and genuinely wants the best for you.

Joining AWBC was one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. Going to the gym was always a bit of a drag for me so finding something that was fun and kept me active was key! The people, the coaches, the atmosphere, all play a part on what makes this place so great. Can’t recommend enough!!

I took one class here and immediately signed up to be a member. It has been one of the best decisions I’ve made since moving to Austin. The entire coaching staff is incredible and I learn something new every workout. The workouts are challenging and fun at the same time. I also absolutely love the community and have made so many new friends! It is a safe and supportive space and that alone is very difficult to find sometimes.I highly recommend you check out this gym!

Got to take the self defense workshop today — when they have the 10 pass opportunity JUST BUY IT. I arrived late, and still got well worth my money in terms of informative material, welcoming cathartic healing community warmth, and real life practice! This gym is becoming my second home. Each instructor I work with challenges me, encourages me, and teaches me something new with each class. Members of the gym are extremely supportive of one another and encourage each other's growth. Boxers of all levels learn from one another and treat each other with respect. Exercises are modified to fit your own needs and meets you where you are at in your physical journey. I love this place so ding dang much.

I've been trying to come up with words to adequately describe the magic that is AWBC, but there simply aren't any.I have never encountered a more diverse, inclusive, supportive group of people and I am so, so glad to have found this place! Working out has always been a foreign, sometimes scary concept to me, and I have always dropped in and out of random group fitness classes, struggling to find something that would stick. I took a chance on Austin Women's Boxing Club and I am so happy I did. I think I finally found my thing!If you're nervous about trying something new, I encourage you to give AWBC a try. You'll be greeted with friendly coaches and awesome members...plus it just feels good to punch stuff!Thanks for being so cool, y'all?

This gym is the best gym I've ever been to. The instructors are amazing and take the time to teach you how to box. You learn the skills needed for the ring while getting an amazing workout. There are boxing classes and strength training classes, and every class is wonderful. The instructors really want to make sure you learn in a safe environment while having a good time. All of the members are friendly and great and it's just a wonderful place to workout at.

I have been going to Austin Women’s Boxing Club for about 9 months and I am so grateful I found this gym. Not only are the classes a great workout but the community of people, gym goers and coaches, are truly some of the best!

Came here looking for a way to exercise that didn't totally suck since I have always hated conventional gyms. The workouts and the environment at AWB are fun, supportive, and mentally engaging. I really appreciate how trainers Alex and Lu take the time to give everyone personalized feedback, without overwhelming you with too much info. The classes are very challenging while still being doable for any level. I seriously wish this gym was a worldwide franchise so I could keep going in any city.

My love for Austin Women's Boxing Club runs deep. The community is amazing, and the Olympic-style boxing skills taught here are legit. I feel not only affirmed but *celebrated* as a queer and trans person training here. I feel so lucky to be part of such a unique gym!

My favorite gym ever. Although I haven't been going as frequently as I would like due to my travel schedule, I always look forward to training whenever I'm back in town. The instructors and other members are always supportive. Not only have I learn a lot about boxing and strength building techniques, I also feel more confident and positive after every training session. I would recommend this gym to all my female friends and family. There are beginner boxing workshops that can be very good introduction for anyone new to boxing.

Prior to this gym I had never enjoyed working out and always felt super awkward at gyms. However, since I've started coming here I really look forward to the classes and am in the best shape I've ever been in! The instructors make sure your getting a great workout, but also don't overwhelm you so all fitness levels are welcome! Plus, everyone is always willing to help, and are very supportive.
