Came to Gerber based on a referral from one of my family members and I wasn't disappointed.
Carlos helped me in getting my car in promptly for an estimate, dealt with the insurance company, set an estimated time of completion and I left with my mind at ease. I got updates almost everyday and the vehicle was finished ahead of schedule, just in time for Thanksgiving. Repair work was phenomenal, the dent removal and painting on the hood was perfect. Car repairs are never fun, but they should be done correctly, and this was, which was satisfying.
Ill definitely recommend this business to everyone.

We chose Gerber for our collision repair since they're in network with Progressive. We were given a 3-4 weeks estimate but the Gerber team on Rutland was able to fix the car in less than 3 weeks. Everything looks good and the communication was great. Very happy with their service!

Just picked up my truck from Gerber Collision & Glass and it looks fantastic. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ll be honest...I was initially frustrated because the estimate came in much lower than the actual repair cost. When the final cost ends up being 50–100% more than expected, it doesn’t always feel like much of an “estimate.” I’ve since learned that in this industry you don’t really know the full scope until the vehicle is taken apart, which is different than most other industries.
That said, the team went above and beyond. Wade, the general manager, personally called me several times, explained the situation, and helped me file with my insurance. Carlos, who wrote the estimate, was very kind and professional as well. Both were great at communicating with me throughout the entire process.
In the end, my truck looks great, it’s insured, and I feel well taken care of. Big props to Wade and Carlos for their professionalism and customer service.

Wade and his team did such an outstanding job on my repairs. From the moment I walked in everyone was happy to help. I was kept up to date with my repairs throughout the entire time and my estimated time for completion was spot on. I even had my truck fully detailed in the inside and boy did that make me feel even better!

Carlos M was my Estimator , very punctual and had my vehicle back to me before the estimated due date . Any of my concerns were addressed in a timely manner and took care of my vehicle like their own .

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Caliber Collision is far way superior than this place. Wade Whittington and Austin Schmidt truly were unprofessional.

Was originally quoted around $2,900, but the final bill ended up at $4,260 after unexpected add-ons. During disassembly, the shop claimed trim pieces were damaged and required replacement, adding another $1,300 to the bill. They also billed 48 labor hours just for two door panels.
While the work was completed, the lack of transparency in the estimating process and the major cost jump make me hesitant to recommend this shop. Customers deserve clearer estimates upfront and better communication about potential hidden costs.

Very professional. Carlos, the agent I worked with, seemed genuinely dedicated to getting our car back to new for us. Well organized. Thorough analysis of the car issues. And this might sound small, but Carlos spoke to me (the wife) equally as he did to my husband, which is surprisingly rare at car shops.

They really dropped the ball on following up to repair my Lexus. Subpar repair job in the first place, had to bring it back multiple occasions. Was given the run around when I wanted to speak to anyone higher than the store manager. They are not worth the money.

I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Gerber Collision and Glass on Rutland! I had some minor bumper damage from a fender bender, and Gerber was recommended to me by my insurance. Carlos was my estimator and did a fantastic job getting my car fixed quickly--not a blemish in sight! He was also so personable and kind. I brought it in the week of July 4 and mentioned that I would be on a trip the next week. They were able to get the car back to me before the July 4th weekend, which really meant a lot. This place takes great care of its customers and is no-nonsense! If you have repairs to get done, this is the place to do it.

The team was incredibly fast, friendly, and professional. Carlos personally handled everything, including coordinating my rental car pick-up and drop-off, which made a huge difference. I was kept in the loop every step of the way with clear, timely text updates. The quality of the repair work is flawless—my car looks brand new, and the warranty they provide gives me complete peace of mind. 5 Stars - Outstanding Service and Follow-Through on Warranty Work
This was my second time taking a vehicle to Gerber Collision and Glass off Rutland, and once again, they did not disappoint.
About a year ago, I brought my large SUV here after an insurance repair at the Pflugerville location left several key body parts unsecured after painting. I raised my concerns to upper management, and they referred me to the Rutland team. At that time, Emilio was the manager, and he and Jacob and the rest of the did an excellent job. Everything was ordered, replaced, and properly secured, and I left VERY satisfied with the work.
Fast forward almost a year later, and I noticed issues with the clear coat—again tied to the original work from the Pflugerville location, not Rutland. Still, I felt compelled to reach out to management again.
This time, I was connected with Wade, who has since taken over for Emilio. Wade immediately stepped in without hesitation. He acknowledged the issue, arranged for a rental car, and ensured a fast turnaround to get my SUV back in perfect shape. His professionalism and urgency made the process smooth and completely stress-free.
Overall, Gerber Collision and Glass off Rutland has consistently demonstrated that they stand behind their work, even when the original issues were not theirs to fix. Wade and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I’m extremely happy with the results and highly recommend this location to anyone needing collision or paint repairs. They TRULY CARE about making things right.
