I went there for a conference and I enjoyed the place. It was an easy ride with CapMetro to the Austin Convention Center.

Crowds in big & empty spaces, lacking useful signage, no artwork or places to sit & gather, no visual interest—very cold atmosphere

Great experience. In Austin for a conference, and the center is located close to a lot of restaurants, hotels, etc. very walkable.

I really liked the vastness of the convention because it allows a great venue for conferences; however, it needs to update its offerings to be more competitive. Everyone needs plugs to stay on task. We were constantly searching for plugs for our electronic devices. There weren't any plugs centrally located in the meeting rooms. For what we part to attend these events, we expect more.

Came here to attend a youth national volleyball tournament. Why there's no water bottle filling station and one one water fountain in such a big place is beyond me and frustrating

I absolutely love coming to work here. The people at the security gate are awesome and the guys who work for the convention center are great. They are friendly, helpful, and all around good guys.
