I am SO glad to have found this place. Gary is knowledgable, honest, and is genuinely excited to get your Corvette either fixed or back to its former glory. No one else will touch ours ever. I can't recommend highly enough. He's an old school, legit Corvette guru.

Just recently had my engine replaced on my 1980 corvette that hasn't been running in years. Gary and his team did a fantastic job and got it done very quickly and he made sure to stay within my budget. I just went to a carshow this past weekend and got a lot of compliments. I couldn't recommend enough. These guys are great and know what they are doing. Thank you Gary for bringing a family member back to life.

Took my corvette to Gary after purchasing it and it needing a new harmonic balancer, he was able to get the parts the next day and had the car up and running, and going above and beyond on helping answer questions about routine stuff needed.

I recently had an experience on 01/25/2024, with this shop (Austin Corvette) that compelled me to share my feedback. I brought in my 2007, C6, Z06 due to a check engine light, and unfortunately, the overall service fell very short of my expectations.
Upon diagnosing the issue, I was informed about a faulty O2 sensor and a damaged spark plug wire. On 01/26/2024, I was advised the issue was fixed and to pick up the vehicle. Due to my busy schedule, I requested to pick up the vehicle the next day (01/27/2024), but regrettably, this was not accommodated, leaving me with the impression of being rushed.
Shortly after retrieving my vehicle, I encountered multiple misfires. Upon inspecting under the hood, I discovered a (Gary had advised me that he had placed a used spark plug wire because he didn’t have any in stock) damaged spark plug wire and a damaged coil pack attached to it. I attempted to address this matter with Gary (employee) and was met with unprofessionalism and argumentative. Gary asserted that they didn’t do comprehensive vehicle checks. This blew my mind due to the fact they had checked all eight spark plugs and found a damaged spark plug wire, but didn’t think about checking the coil packs that are attached to the spark plug wires.
I understand that errors can occur, but a professional shop, especially one that identifies as a Corvette specialist, should exercise thoroughness in their assessments. Despite my effort to be reasonable and not place blame, there was no acknowledgment of oversight or an offer to rectify the situation when I contacted the shop.
In the spirit of constructive feedback, I believe a reputable shop would recognize a mistake, invite the customer to bring the car back for resolution, and work towards ensuring customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and as a result, I've decided NOT to utilize this shop in the future. Especially after paying $690 dollars for fixing a damaged OT sensor.
I feel it is important to share my experience with the Corvette community in Austin, as transparency in such matters contributes to a more informed consumer base. I hope that my feedback can be taken constructively, prompting improvements in the overall customer experience at “Austin Corvette”.

Well, this is Michael McLaren given Austin in Corvette restoration review. I feel that that they are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with as far as being a timely matter. He had my Corvette for 14 months deadbolt on a bad exhaust system that fell off, taking out my back bumper and the windshield of the car behind me on the highway of 181 and never finished any of the work he was supposed to do. I’m 12 how much you paid I only paid him $5000 but he that was it just a down payment that you pay $5000 to have it done and none of it was done and you didn’t Money he was supposed to restore my 1989 Chevrolet red Corvette, and all he did was both on the accident. Shock absorber on the back of the before the bumper and put on the exhaust system and never gave me none of the money back. He was paid $5000 to do all this and never finish the work . and this business will be reported to the BBB.

Got my exhaust put on by the guys at Austin Corvette. It took them a day to do it, and were very communicative about how long it will take. I'm very happy with the work that they did, and will be back if anything else happens to my c6 corvette. Thank you guys there at Austin Corvette for taking care of my Corvette.
