Bought a new Mac here because I wanted help transferring all my photos and files. Turned out the model I bought had insufficient storage capacity so they set me up with an additional external drive. I didn't like having to turn on the drive so they let me upgrade to a Mac with more storage. Redid the entire data transfer at no charge. Milo personally saw to it that every detail was handled to ensure I was satisfied. Will never buy a Mac directly without this level of service. Highly recommend.

Super helpful! I've been a customer since they started! You can count on them! And I'm not a techie but ask a bunch of dumb questions -- they always save the day!

Amazing customer service. I never went back into apple stores for repair since finding this place. If you have no applecare, they’re very transparent about their fees.Thank you Austin MacWorks!

There's no difference in price taking your Mac here or going to the Apple Store. They want $495.00 before tax for a 2017 - 15" Mac Book Pro Battery! 3 to 7 day turn around.I found another Apple Certified Service provider who quoted $219.00 for the same new Battery before tax. 1 hour turn around.Pic below is what an Apple Battery can do when it fails. It starts off by not being able to close the lid, to full blown swollen. Apparently from here they can explode.

Came here as my 2017 MBP wouldn't turn on. Hoped they could get my data back but after charging $269USD they said they couldn't. Recommended professional data services that would cost $1000+So I Google data recovery for 2017 MBP and discovered there's a Apple Data Recovery tool for my specific model. Found a place in Toronto that recovered my data for $250CAD (I was traveling there already). They might be ok for basic recovery, anything more detailed look elsewhere. You'd think as professionals they would know better. A simple Google would have saved me $269USD and my time.

I'm very disappointed by Austin Mac Works. I bought an adapter last week and was told "if it doesn't work you can return it with no problems". When I went in to return it, I was told there was a 15% restocking fee. This was never mentioned when I bought it.

I thought my mac was toast! Couldn't turn on, couldn't get through troubleshooting successfully with Apple support, nothing. Apple booked me an appointment with Austin Macworks, who solved the issue in less than a week for $100.... I now have a good as new machine. Thank you!!!!

My daughter took her Macbook Pro to this company to fix the screen. They charged her $700. After getting it back the display started going white. She then took it back to them and the same person who fixed it the first time told her the mother board was bad due to 3 pieces of confetti from the previous year and wanted $1500 to fix her computer. I then called apple because that didn't sound correct to me. We then sent the computer to Apple and they fixed the computer. The problem was not the motherboard it was the display that this company was supposed to have fixed for $700 but didn't. Read review before using this company as they can charge whatever they want and they don't fix what they charge for and then try to charge you for problems that don't exist. Very disappointed and will never use them again.

These people were great. I thought my 2018 MacBook was broken and I'd need an expensive repair or worse, a new MacBook. They diagnosed that it was just my power cord. And it was no charge even though I tried to pay! I was pleasantly surprised because I thought I had tested multiple cords. In any event, this will be my first stop next time anything goes wrong with anything Mac.

I have been using Austin MacWorks for many years and they have always taken wonderful care of me. I recommended them to my dad and he STILL raves about what a wonderful job they did getting his mac up and running. Recently, I made a horrible mistake and started an upgrade without backing up my 2014 Macbook air. As you might expect, I was unable to boot my computer afterward and was in desperate need of data recovery services. Apple support said there was nothing to be done. I made the walk of shame to Austin MacWorks. Justin provided a no-judgment hand-off and gave me a 70% success prognosis in 5-7 days. 6 days later, I had a fully functional computer and 100% recovery. I haven't always had 100% success with data recovery (sometimes damage/corruption makes that impossible), but I feel confident that, if it can be done, Austin MacWorks can make it happen. Highly recommend!

The display on my daughter's Apple iPhone became dark and fuzzy. I dreaded going to the Apple store since mall parking is no fun and it can be a bit claustrophobic there. Luckily, Austin MacWorks was able to help! Super easy parking and they were able to help me immediately. I interacted with Trevor and Ethan while at the store. They were both very patient with me and even took the time to ask me if I wanted to peel off the stickers on her phone for safe keeping since they may need to replace the back part of the phone. The turn around time for the fix was very quick and they were communicative throughout. We even got it back with the stickers re-located on the new part :) Amazing customer service!

Apple advised me to take my old, old Mac here. After years of no activity, the login screen came right up but the keyboard didn't register. They solved the problem and now I can see all of the old photos that I had scanned to this machine and move them to a more modern destination.Without MacWorks, I'd still be wondering if any old photos were still on this machine.
