In town for SXSWEDU and ate lunch at Austin Taco project for 3 of the 4 days I was in town! The food was great and despite it being ridiculously busy during the conference, the service was pretty good. They also have really good gluten free options.

Absolutely awful breakfast tacos. I was here during SXSW, so I understand if operations weren't usual. Service was horrible and I had to ask or grab someone for everything, and I was tight on time for events, but 45min for one person ordering 2 breakfast tacos wasn't enough time apparently. Don't come here if you don't have to.

The entrance was weird and hard to find. Hit some locked doors and thought it was for Hilton guests only. It's not, and thankfully I love tacos enough to have figured that out. Just have to enter through the main lobby.I'm a guy who loves a good carne asada. I am also critical of poor carne asada. This was hands down the BEST carne asada I've ever had. It's obviously slow cooked in delicious spices. The meat was almost cubed it was so thick, yet tender in every bite. Barely had to chew.Sara was an awesome host and filled me in on the local details. She was very kind and a great bartender.I think this is an absolute must if you visit Austin, TX.

We ate at the Austin Taco Project because we were at a conference across the street and also staying at the hotel. I ordered the roasted broccoli quesadilla. It was so good! We let the waitress know we were on a time crunch and she started working on our tickets as soon as our food was delivered. We were in and out in 45 minutes. We all wished we were served chips and salsa when we were seated, but overall the entire experience was fantastic.

We found this restaurant average overall, it is a busy place with inadequate staff which makes everything slower. The food is okay, we tried crispy fish tacos, kickin chicken tacos, corn soup and broccoli quesadillas, everything had okay

Warm chios and queso were spot on. Limited menu due to conference nearby. I asked twice for the pickled jalapeños, but recieved regular. Overall, really good spot.

We always enjoy our experience at the Austin Taco Project. We were greeted warmly by Sam , hostess and Erika does a fabulous job keeping the breakfast buffet fresh and stocked. Mark provided attentive service.

I was staying in the Hilton and appreciated the convenience of the location. I was seated quickly. The waitress was a little spastic and awkward. Food was beautiful and the tacos were good but way overpriced. The drink didn't make it out until I was almost finished with my meal. I would try a different restaurant in the future. There are was too many REALLY good Mexican food in Austin to choose this again.

As a taco snob, I was hesitant to get the tacos, so I chose the burger. It is a REALLY good burger. I strongly recommend the burger!!

The chips and salsa 3 ways were great. Ordered the fish tacos and didn't eat them, had one bite, and stopped. Looked great but not tasty at all.
