Been going to Vol Tech for years with my xc 60 - 2013. 170,000 miles plus. Honest guys and never returned from bad job. Can't say the same with Volvo of Austin. Never charged too much.

Austin Vol-Tech (Curtis and John) were amazing. We had a motor that needed to be replaced in a newer model Volvo XC90. They were incredibly responsive and fair with their pricing. I would highly recommend this shop!

This place is shady. I had air conditioning issues, and I suspected that it was out of refrigerant and just needed to be recharged. John told me that I needed a new compressor that cost $1,200. When I asked him to file with my car warranty company he couldn't explain to them why I needed a new compressor and so the claim was denied. I didn't think much of it until I called my warranty company and they explained the situation, he couldn't give them a reason why. He said that it was their fault that they denied it. When I asked him to email me a simple explanation of why I needed a new compressor so that I could use it as evidence to validate my claim, he never did. When the warranty company said that they were going to send out an inspector to validate the need for a new compressor, he had nothing else to do with the warranty company. I have a feeling that I paid for something that I did not need. Honesty doesn't take much if anything to back up and he wanted nothing to do with proving why I needed a new compressor.

A huge thank you to the team at Austin Vol-Tech. I had an intermittent issue with my car I have taken into the dealership a few times to try and identify without a resolution. The guys were able to find the issue, complete the work on time as promised and my car no longer leaks!I'll be back soon for my 60k service!
