Wow! Silver center was amazing, especially the service wreck. Hector got me in and out of the service shop quickly. Fair priced for the services I got for my vehicle. Highly recommend the service team and this parts team over here at Toyota AutoNation! Oh and just so you know there's been recent renovations going on so be aware that there's some construction going on when you're coming to get your vehicle serviced.

Called 3 times. Was put on hold all three times. Waited 10 minutes each time. No one ever came back. Fourth time, called a different department and asked to speak with literally anyone and was told they didn't know who to call and that they would take my number down and get back to me, which of course never happened.
I'm just trying to buy some weatherstripping.
Second abysmal experience with this company. It's almost cartoonish.

Took my car in due to a recall, staff was friendly and let me know everything they would do. Left the car there and Jonathan kept me updated via text on what had been done.

They take good care of my Toyota Rav4! I'm very pleased with the service department and my service advisor treats me well.

Debbie was great and I got the RAV4 that I wanted. Auto Nation took care of a minor issue with the car as promised. Toyota owner for life!

I don’t typically write negative reviews because I like to believe everyone is doing their best, but I found the experience at the Autonation Toyota South Austin negative enough to share.
The short version is that all that was wrong with my car was a loose wire not properly attached to the fuse box, Instead I was told by this place to pay $1000 to remove my anti-theft system and $250 for a new 12V battery (which was only 2 years old). In the end my car was fixed at Toyota of North Austin for a simple $200 diagnostic fee, and wire reattached.
The long version:
Zero organization in the morning, no one seemed to be in charge of moving cars along. Check-in took 45 minutes at 7 am.
Told I needed $500 worth of maintenance. Within 10 minutes of leaving, I found the official “recommended Toyota maintenance schedule” and noticed none of my “essential” maintenance items were on that list. I asked my advisor to cancel them, but was told not possible because my car was in the shop already.
The actual reason I was having service done was for the intermittent check engine and exclamation mark light coming on.
Despite being in the shop already at 8 am supposedly, it took 5 hours to be told that the issue was an “aftermarket anti-theft system that is pulling from the battery.” I said this couldn’t be true because I was the first owner after the dealership. This left my advisor lost because they had specifically asked me when I checked in if I was the first owner and I said no…but I didn’t say the first owner was the dealership using the car as a rental.
When I listed off 5+ reasons this explanation didn’t make sense based on the code I pulled from the car and how the issue presented, I couldn’t get an answer.
I agreed to replace the 12V battery part, because in theory that would buy some time since the system was “pulling” from the battery. It didn’t do anything. I picked up my car with all the warning lights still on and I was unable to accelerate.
My advisor told me by text that the latest I could get my car was 5 pm. Not true, they are open till 6 pm per a quick google search. When I arrived I was handed my keys and pointed in the direction of my car to go find it myself in the big parking lot.
The next day I took my car to Toyota of North Austin where they just plugged the loose wire back in and fixed everything for a $200 diagnostic fee.

This dealership do thier best to get customers in and out in a timely manner. The one thing I do not agree with is they will take picture of some items they want/suggest getting fixed. However they will not take pictures of brakes/brake linners/brake pads but they will tell/document they need replaced immediately.

In for oil change and 30k assessment. Alex was great as my advisor. Friendly, personable young man. I did add one of the services recommended. I was however disappointed with the notification on my car. Tech sent me a pic of my tire telling me it was fine, but I specifically said no need for tires to be checked nor rotated as I have Discount tire for that. Also requested that they do a complete look over on the vehicle. No communication on anything else. Same thing happened last time I used you all-part of the multi-point inspection is to look at fluids, wipers, filters and tires (including tire pressure). Well I know my tire pressure was a little low in front tires, Engine filter could use replacement...as well as, my wipers in the front. No mention of such. Would be nice to have reassurance that things were actually looked at.

My service advisor Luna A. was the best!! Very attentive, professional, and welcoming. She went out of her way to pick up my license plates while the vehicle was being serviced and saved me a trip! Ask for Luna for your service needs, outstanding experience.

I called before stopping by to see if they had time to replace my battery, when I arrived around 1:00 I felt the check-in process was chaotic. After an hour I was sent a list of $2000 worth of services they recommend. Most of the recommendations have already been completed at another Toyota location. After realizing that I’m being scammed by the salesman in the service department, I let them know just to replace the battery with battery service and nothing more. Picking up my vehicle I noticed there were still corrosion on the new battery they installed. Then I took my car to another Toyota dealership to get a second opinion, it turned out the only thing I needed was an oil change. I would never go to this location ever again and possibly not Toyota.

They called me, stating that I had a recall on my car. Made the appointment and got there. They didn't tell me that I was going to have to wait over 4 hours for an air bag replacement. Btw, the light is still on...
