Very bad service. Nobody helps you and when you want to ask something they answer you in a bad way

Been standing in line for five minutes, and a thought came to my head…I’ll write a review to kill time! Sadly, my time in line seems to be coming to an end. I think two people run this entire, nice, well stocked store. The phone rings and rings. The customers in line heckle the invisible cashiers. Three stars because they had an air freshener I like. Nah, two. The one cashier ended up having a terrible attitude with a few customers.
I initially accidentally reviewed this on Advance Auto (right next door). I was like “It’s just Advance, par for the course.” But it wasn’t! It was Auto Zone! My, how the mighty have fallen.
Please make a bigger sign saying there’s a self checkout. We all missed it, and the employee, rather than mentioning it to us ten folks waiting in line for ten minutes, frustratedly and patronizingly carries your items to the newly discovered (to you) self check out and checks them out himself. Just so it can really sink in that you. Are. Incompetent. Gotta love it.

It was not clean and some of the things were open and used and when I spoke to the manager he spoke to me in an inappropriate manner.

If you're coming for a can of brake cleaner, no problem. If you're coming in for commercial, dont bother. I have a commercial account, and I was treated like I was a second priority and took 15 minutes for them to ring up 6 items. Very dissatisfied

Customer service was painstakingly SLOW. They put me on hold 3 times and each time was more than 10 minutes. I had to call back each time.
I asked for the battery, starter, and alternator to be tested and when I got there, they only wanted to test the battery. I had to wait over 20 minutes just to get this done.
They tested the battery and they said it was good but they couldn't tell me why the car did not start earlier. After digging into his reading, he found out that he had the wrong input data in his scanner so he had to re-do the scan and test.
They automatically want to upgrade you into the top of the line batteries but they all have the 3 year warranty. They were happy to try and upcharge me $60.
Seems like a typical mechanic whose only interest is selling you and up selling you rather than being an honest tradesman, but the don't get paid for honesty.
The only reason I gave them a 2-star is because of the AutoZone brand. They have a ton of selection as is expected, but the service was awful.

If the person behind the counter is a woman and you ask for a diagnostic test - apparently you'll get told no as there's a
line of people and to handle it yourself. There is another person there, a man, who deserves a raise because he was doing his job and hers.

Exchanged the wrong blades for the wrong wiper blades then refused to exchange for the proper blades afterwards.

Patrick is an absolute God send when I was there the other day and needed help with my brake switch accesory part. He got way under my dash board in the hot sun to put on a tiny piece for my brake pedal. I had been outside for an hour trying to do it myself with no luck. Because of Patrick, my battery will no longer be drained overnight from my tail lights staying on in my old car. I'm so thankful!

This place is a very organized and helpful store .the employees are very helpful and PATIENCE Logan was very knowledgeable and thorough with every question I asked I highly recommend this location !!!!!!

Varies too much on which store and which employee is helping as to how well your experience will go. There is a real disparity. It seems like the C-Suite could find a better way to reward better performance individually creating a positive reward structure to improve. But that's above Google Maps pay grade.
Recently got terrific help from Joshua ar Parmer Ln location. I've had a few good experiences there. Decent prices, good help can be found. And a very convenient place to get a good Dura Last battery. I just had it replaced and I had the old one for 7yrs.

The mechanic simply did not want to assist me because I did not speak English well (he was Mexican and spoke Spanish perfectly), I could not solve the problem with my car.
