I had a really good experience here, pick up was fast. Drop off was really simple and easy. I would definitely rent a car from here again. I cannot recommend this Avis location enough.

Needed to rent while my truck was being repaired, and each time I needed to extend Salem made easy over the phone...he is always pleasant. I rented for 2.5 weeks and got the best rate I could anywhere. This is my 3rd time renting from this location and will continue to do so in the future.

I would like to share the exceptional customer service I received over the past month. Because of mechanical issues with my vehicle I choose to pickup a rental car from the Avis/Budget location close to my neighborhood. I traveled often with my business, and I always picked up rental cars at the airports. There was never much customer service, and I had grown used too Here's your keys...go the parking spot.
Twice I've had the pleasure of picking up and returning my rentals with Salem at the Avis rental center inside the Wal-Mart at 620 & Hwy.183. What a difference.
From the moment I walked up to the counter and was greeted with a friendly smile, and such a positive attitude.
I changed my reservation just an hour before I arrived at the counter. I was expecting some attitude, and being told you'll have to take what we have.
When looking at my reservation, and the earlier pick up he told me the car I requested was not ready yet. .it was being cleaned. Salem gave me three options, and all were presented to me in a positive manner. He was gracious, professional, and above all, he wanted a satisfied customer. He understands customer service. He took the time to walk with me to the car lot. He showed me the options and he said it's your choice in a friendly, positive manner.
The way he presented himself won me over. In the future when I need a rental there's no doubt where I'm going. That's customer service. Avis & Budget are fortunate to have Salem as there partner.

AOVID THIS AVIS LOCATION. Worst experience with Avis yet. Terrible customer service and the car was stinking of cigarettes, the manager wouldn’t help or find a replacement.

Mathiud was absolutely wonderful to work with. Even , though he had 3 customers in at closing, he took time to make everyone feel valued, and well taken care of! Wish all customer service folks I come n into contact x with were this great!!!

They were upset with the corporate rate and refused to rent the car. Filed a complaint with Avis on this sad excuse of a franchise. Avoid this location.

Salem bait and switched my rental reservation, tried to gaslight me into taking a downgrade, refused to explain fees that made my cost over double my reservation, and when I asked for terms and conditions he insisted he would charge me even if I didn't find it.
I guess I have to thank him because if the checkout experience was this bad, the return experience would be a nightmare. Guess I'll drive to the airport.
