Do not find the person at all helpful. Helps with almost nothing. He knows no answers to any query and simply shrugs his shoulders all the time. I find avis at burnet road way better and the person at that counter is way helpful and knows his stuff.Have been renting avis every month for past 2 years now. Have been renting from this location for only last 4 months and I can tell you from experience that avis at burnet road is loads better.

Salem was wonderful!! He accommodated me with a rental since there were no compact cars available. The vehicle he provided for the replacement was awesome and drove very well. I will definitely be renting from here again and again. Thank you so much Salem!!!

I have been renting cars at this Avis location for over 8 years now. I like the convenient location within the Walmart and the ample parking outside. Salem and his crew are always courteous and they will find workarounds when my exact car requested is not available. Keep up the good work guys!

I had a great experience at Avis Car Rental in the Walmart store at 13201 FM 620 North, Austin, Texas, 78729. I worked with Sam Hussan and he was great! He was professional, friendly and answered all of my questions. He made sure that I was completely satisfied with his service. Thank you Sam for doing such an amazing job when I rented and returned my car.

Love renting from here the owner and staff are always very courteous and professional. I appreciate being able to pick up a clean vehicle in great condition. I will continue to rent from them for all my future rentals!

I chose this Walmart-AVIS location instead of the airport for the first time.I booked a rental using AVIS-Amazon-Prime, i.e., logging in to AVIS using Amazon prime - This was not honored.Hussam at the counter was very unprofessional.I would like to bring these concerns to the owner's attention -1. It is very important to provide a safe and professional environment for customers.2. What is the purpose of providing my company ID when booking through Amazon Prime?

They accepted my reservation, took my money, then didn't give me a car bc of a return flight issue. Then they didn't refund my money when I tried to move my reservation.

Great cars, clean, but DO NOT prepay for a rental if you might return it early. You will NOT be reimbursed. Go to the rental agency to rent. If you prepay, keep the car the entire time or you will lose money.

The guy who set me up with the rental (I think his name was Matt?) was really courteous and efficient, so he gets kudos. But the reason for the review is based on the rental car I received.Almost getting home the first time, the low engine oil light came on (as pictured - I took multiple photos of the dash warning but this one was when I was refueling to drop the car off). I immediately pulled over and called the Avis location I set up the rental with and asked him what he wanted me to do. He said “just go ahead a buy a quart of oil, put it in, and we will pay you back”. Cool - I can do that, but a little annoying that a car with only 60K miles has low oil for some reason. I even checked the dipstick to make sure it was low, and not a sensor issue so as not to flood the engine with oil and hurt the car.I hold on to the car for another 3 days to get back and forth from work since the oil light isn’t returning, until day 4 of the rental when it comes back on. I pull back into my driveway, where I notice the oil has been leaking into my driveway. Great.I call up the location again and talk to the same guy I spoke with when the issue first arose. I said “hey, light came back on, seems to have a decent oil leak. What do you want me to do?” He asks me if the engine sounds funny. I say “no, sounds fine, but the car is leaking oil onto the driveway. Not sure if you want me to make the 50 mile drive with a noticeable oil leak”. He says it should be fine, just bring it on in. I tell him whatever, I have some oil in my garage, I’ll throw some more in if it’s low. He thanks me and says sorry for the trouble.I returned the car in great shape with more oil in it than when I got it. Saved them a tow and rental car exchange. $35 discount. Disappointing, but I don’t know what I expected.
