We cannot be more grateful to Dr. Hayleigh Moore at Banfield, Mueller. Our little one in the photo has cancer and she has been our steadfast partner as we’ve been navigating his condition. She is knowledgeable, confident, and has a great sense of humor to boot. She has been nothing but a friend to us and our dogs. The staff is also fantastic. Chelsea, Kianna, Dylan, and everyone we’ve interacted with there are just A+ folks. Thank you to all of them for their kindness and professionalism.

I am putting 3 stars only because the staff is always so kind. However I’m not sure who is to blame , either management, vet, corporate, who knows. My dog was a patient for 13 years at banfield and when she needed you most she was let down. I called at 7:30 am on the dot expressing that my dog was in distress and that I needed an emergency appointment to put her down. She was suffering. I was told at 7:30 am, mind you they had just opened, sorry we don’t have any appointments today, try calling another location. I’m sorry what!? In the past, emergencies always took priority, always! I was left scrambling and decided to find a in home vet service which cost over $600!!! An unnecessary charge when my dog had a banfield plan. Regardless I was not going to let my beloved girl suffer a moment longer. This location used to be good, I don’t know what changed but the past 3-4 years it’s really gone down. I think they pack in way too many patients and don’t have time. I’ve even been sent home with items to collect my own dogs urine and poop and asked to bring back! Absolutely not! That’s your job! To make matters worse the vet that came to euthanize my dog told me that she had heart issues, something banfield NEVER told me. I am so beyond hurt that this was how a patient of 13 years was treated in her final moments.

I had an appointment at this pet hospital to get my dog’s teeth cleaned, and the experience was so concerning that I walked out before the procedure. No one told me ahead of time that my dog needed to be fasted—something that’s critical for her safety. If I hadn’t already known that on my own, it could have been life-threatening. That level of miscommunication is completely unacceptable.
When we were brought into the exam room, there was fur and blood on the table from the previous dog. It was visibly dirty, and I sat there waiting for over 20 minutes. No one came in to check on us or explain anything.
The front of the facility was already unclean, and seeing the condition of the exam room made me seriously question what the rest of the facility looks like. I ultimately decided to leave. My dog’s health and well-being are far more important than a routine dental cleaning.
I won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values safe, clean, and professional care for their pets.

I’m surprised to see such low ratings here because I’ve had nothing but positive experiences the handful of times I’ve brought my pup in since adopting him a little less than a year ago. He’s an older dog, and I’ve brought him in for allergy consultation and as a new owner was being cautious about a few other things that were ultimately harmless / easily fixed with appropriate meds. All the staff seemed to love him and were super nice, and one of the staff members even remembered him from his time at APA. The people are really kind and informative and helpful. Emilio Lorenzini was the last vet who took care of him and he was especially wonderful. I would certainly recommend this location and it’s super convenient for me so I’ll be back as needed! The only challenge and it’s no fault of theirs is that my dog can be a little leash reactive with other dogs and there isn’t much separation that can be done near the check in counter so you just have to be careful depending on your pet.

I had scheduled an appointment for my dog at 5:30pm because that's the only time they have in-room appointments. I get a call 30 mins before the appointment from the receptionist saying that the doctor (Miranda Freeman) wanted to see what the appointment was about and if it was a routine appt, because they were about to close at 6pm. I said it was to have a growth on his leg examined.
The doctor decided to then cancel my appointment because it was 'too late' for that, although my appointment was within working hours. She just wanted to get out of there early. Will now be taking my dog somewhere else to be checked out since the doctor showed such little level of care.

Communication is terrible. They don’t honor appointments here and will waste your time. I’d suggest a different location.

We take both our cat and dog here and always get great service. They really care about the pets and the owners. Kianee (key on your knee lol) the vet tech at the front was great!

After reading the reviews of this location, I was hesitant to bring my dog here. I have been loyal to the Saltillo location for years but they closed down this year. I scheduled my appointment on the app, got a confirmation email and then a staff member called before my appointment to confirm. Everyone was polite and I felt in the loop after I dropped my dog off. He was there for a few hours but I understand they were busy this day. I don’t have any complaints about the service and will bring my dog back for his dental cleaning. Thanks to the staff at this location!

Perhaps the most unknowledgeable, unhelpful veterinarian team I have ever taken my pet to, except for 1 or 2 people. My cat got teeth pulled, and the doctor who performed the surgery was unable to answer my questions before and after the surgery. She sent my cat home with blood on his neck and back- blood on the mouth, I get, but on the rest of him?! Were you wiping your hands on him?! She had the receptionist go over post care instructions with me- which he did not, handed me my cat back with the carrier open, forgot to give me the post-care medicine, and interrupted our check-out conversation to have a full conversation with another customer. During the follow up, I asked about my cat's stitches and the vet tech told me he didn't have any. He did. A few minutes later she said 'oh yeah I guess he does have stitches'. Unsure where this team was hired from but I would not recommend to bring your pets here.

Hands down the worst vet in the city. You are only a number and they do not care about you or your time. Appointments made on the app are never confirmed and no one has access to records to even answer simple questions via chat.
Vets take a 2 hr plus lunch and the rest of the staff is either screwing around laughing in the back, burnt out, or just doesn't care.
Find a small mom and pop vet that actually care
