I want to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Helcel and the entire team at Banfield for their exceptional care during a difficult time.My cat suddenly fell ill, and my regular Banfield location was fully booked. I reached out to this location and they manage to have available appointment.Despite their busy schedule, the team showed unwavering compassion and professionalism throughout our visit. They took exceptional care of my cat, even though her condition was dire. Sadly, she passed away, but what touched me deeply was their willingness to allow me to be there during her last moments. In those final moments, I witnessed the tremendous care and tenderness they provided to my furry friend. It was evident that they treated her with the same love and respect as if she were their own. This meant the world to me during a heart-wrenching experience.Dr. Helcel and the team not only demonstrated their medical expertise but also their genuine empathy and support for pet owners facing difficult decisions. They offered comfort and guidance when it was needed most, and I can't thank them enough for that.Losing a beloved pet is never easy, but having a team like Dr. Helcel's by your side can make all the difference. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of compassionate and professional veterinary care. This was my first time at this location and I will definitely move and bring my other pet to this unit.

Our dog has been having a lot of allergies/ hives so we started taking her here because it was supposed to be a better bang for your buck. We knew we would need to bring her in a lot to see what was going on. After paying $270 the first time (with the membership), we were told all preventive maintenance would be covered moving forward. Well, that's not true, they just keep pushing vaccines which normally I'd understand but not in a dog that has a compromised immune system. So we asked for the flea and tick and heartworm medication and they told us that's not in our plan. But isn't that preventative? Now we are about $400 in and no closer to figuring out what is wrong with our pup. They also don't look back at previous charting so every time we go in we have to give the whole run down and they act like it's the first time you go in. Charting is so important so you can track the progress of the dog, right? It shouldn't be fully on the owners to remember everything, especially because I'm not medically trained. (That's what charting is for) Lastly, when we picked her up this time she was acting so weird. She couldn't wait to get in the car and her ears were down the whole time. That's is not normal for her. This was the least invasive visit but somehow she came out very timid. We won't be coming back, I'd rather see a vet that has time to talk to me face to face.

Our regular Banfield location was booked up and we required a same day appointment for our dog, he was sick and we were leaving on vacation in 2 days with him. They got us in within 15 minutes and updated us along the way, picked him up by 3:00 pm same day. We also got him touched up with his nails trimmed and ears checked. So grateful!

Honestly, I hate leaving a one star review for a vet clinic as I understand the stress but our service here is always abysmal. Today, we brought our dog in for a comprehensive exam and a dental consult. I was asked no less than 3 times during the process if we wanted Lyme or influenza vaccines, both of which I have told the staff repeatedly our elderly dog does not need as she is neither around other dogs or outside much. During and after the exam, we never heard anything from the veterinarian about how our dog was health wise and when my husband went to pick the dog up, no one even mentioned her getting a dental cleaning which I know she is due for. I'm sure this place is understaffed and undertrained but it affects their client's health and it seems to me like they are towing the line of negligence.

If you do not subscribe to Banfield's expensive monthly wellness plans for your pets, they will charge you FIVE times more than normal prices when you schedule an appointment. I was forced to pay $250 for an eye exam and $55 for eye drops for my dog when the eye drops could be found elsewhere for less than $12. Also since COVID, you are not able to go back with your pet or even speak to a veterinarian doctor after they've been seen. You have to leave them there for the DAY to be seen. I talk with customers in line and they too absolutely hate these rules. They've gotten lazy and money hungry and don't care how outrageous their prices are or how scared our pets are. It's so sad. I will be bringing my pets to Emancipet, a non profit vet office who charges only $20 per visit. That's a little better than $250.

My (2) dogs had ultrasounds done this past Wednesday by the vet's recommendation. We had to schedule this weeks in advance as Banfield did not offer it and it had to go through an outside company. It was not included in our Wellness plans. At 5:45pm today I missed a call from the vet with the test results. The vet did not say if the results were good or bad. I called back at 5:53pm was placed on a "brief hold", hung up and called back. When I explained I was returning a message, I was told that the vet was working with another animal. I offered to wait on hold. After 6pm, closing time, the representative said the vet could no longer speak to me and would call Saturday with the results. When I asked why I had to wait 48 hours, I was told it was because their normal vet was not working. When I asked if anyone else could give me the results between now and 48 hours from now, I was told no. Conveniently the manager had gone home for the day as well.So because I missed a call by 5 minutes, even though I called back before closing time, and offered to wait until the doctor was available, the end of shift proved more important than the care of their patients and communication to their customers. I think this experience speaks volumes about this practice and needless to say we will not be returning to this location.

Dr. Amend and staff took my cat in yesterday with an emergency when I could not be seen at an emergency clinic. The resolution requires a specialist and Dr. Amend set that up for Monday, the soonest an opthomologist is available. Dr.Amend answered all my questions and has helped in every possible way. communication via staff has also been great. Although they cannot treat and resolve the issue, they are doing all they can to get me to a specialist and to give my cat temporary relief. I am so appreciative.

The staff is helpful, professional, and efficient. I needed a prescription card printed for a pet parent and my request was completed immediately.

I do like my veterinarian, but the customer service here is absolutely abysmal. It seems their staff do not communicate or review records, or even read the intake form. The experience for me (outlined in detail below) has been so consistently awful I think it becomes a safety issue.I will continue to escalate my complaints until this service location is held accountable for their lack of professionalism, customer service, and negligence.1. Two of my pets were scheduled for teeth cleaning this past summer, after receiving a Lyme vaccine that requires a second shot. The idea is that they would get the second shot on teeth cleaning day. On appointment day I bring both of my dogs, and the front desk staff inform me that one of my dogs isn't actually due for her teeth cleaning since it's been less than a year, and turn that dog away. They did not read that she needed the second series of the Lyme vaccine, and the series would have to be started over again and I would have to pay additional money. They also scheduled her incorrectly, which is a lack of customer service and professionalism.2. For my dog that received a teeth cleaning, they consulted my boyfriend, who is not the account holder, to authorize treatment resulting in an extra $100 added to my bill. Their own policies state that they need authorization from the account holder, not the person dropping the dogs off. My boyfriend's name is no where on the account.3. This month, My dog received an injury requiring staples. I brought her in for the procedure and also requested that they trim her nails. Her nails were not trimmed and I was charged for the pedicure anyway.4. Today, I brought my dog to have her staples removed. I wrote the purpose for her visit clearly on the intake form and once again asked to have her nails trimmed. I explained I was charged last time despite the service not being provided, and I was told that I wouldn't be charged this time. I get a call 15 minutes after drop off from a vet tech asking me why I brought my dog in, and she also told me I'd be paying for the pedicure. She clearly did not even look at the intake form, communicate with the front desk staff, read about any of her past visits, and was overall completely untrained to perform her job duties. This location is awful. Their processes and training are well below standard. I will not use this location for further vet visits, and I recommend other wellness plan members to do the same.

took my dog to the banfield there for a standard checkup / booster shots. I also paid extra to have her nails trimmed. Turns out they cut her quips and was bleeding from them. Didn’t even cut the nails on one of her paws. She was so terrified and traumatized she slipped out and ran away. Thank god for the help of the people around the catch her. She’s never acted like this before. Poor baby is now limping from her paws because they hurt. And to top it off, it’s also very pricey. About $250 for my services today, which wasn’t a full service either. They originally quoted me around $500. Never again going to banfield.Update: they offered refund on nail trim

I've had generally decent experience with other Banfield locations. This one, which is not our usual location, not so much. The staff were nice enough, but despite having an appointment, they just gave us excuses for not wanting to take our dog today, which happened to be the last day of his medical coverage. They claim to have called us with instructions the day before, but no such call occurred. Then they said the vet was too busy with surgeries in the morning, despite having scheduled us for 9am.
