I have loved this place so much since it opened, however my last 3 visits I have been let down exponentially.1.) To -Go order French dip (20 dollars) was burnt. I am shocked that it was even allowed to leave the kitchen. I did not see it until I got back to my desk and had to walk back to get another one.2.) Placed an order with door dash two weeks ago. Said the wait time was 20-32 minutes. I walked over over 35 minutes later and the hostess says oh, sorry I am just putting it in now-> the restaurant was only about 30% full if that. It was flashing on the screen behind her and had been sitting there waiting to be accepted. I asked how long it would take and she said 15-20 minutes. I canceled it because I had already used up most of my lunch time and did not eat that day.3.) I walked over last week giving it one more try as this has become a running joke between myself and my staff. I called it in directly this time, and it was ready when it was reported to be. I opened it up at my desk before my conference call and saw I was given extra bread for some reason ( with the sandwich??) and no dipping sauce for the fries. In addition my AUS JUS was nowhere to be found. It seems they did not pack it at the restaurant. My boss was eating at Doc Bs and went by to pick it up for me after standing at the hostess stand for quite sometime.I think I am going to be giving up eating here although at one points it was something I looked forward too often. the quality and service has gone down since GM Rebecca went elsewhere. 3 wasted lunch breaks now., I should not have to come back 3 times to receive a sandwich I am paying 20 dollars for.

Wonderful time. Food was top notch and light but very filling. High end restaurant for the price. Service was excellent and that atmosphere was laid back. Hard to find though as it's on the second level in Nordstrom. Definitely recommend.

First time visiting here. Looked for places in the Domain to eat out and find this restaurant. The reviews and menu looked good. It was a bit hard to find since it is inside the Nordstrom store. It was not too busy for a Friday night, kind of empty actually. We were seated quickly and orders taken promptly. Food and service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant even though it's located in a store. We hope it lasts.

It's always a pleasure to have brunch or lunch at Bazille. Appreciate the flexibility of being able to order from either menu, and also appreciate the flexibility of being able to seat last-minute guests for whom we didn't make a reservation. Service delightful as is mostly the case, and by the way, my Nicoise salad was amazing!

Fresh but tiny salad, dressing way too sweet.

Mixed American food, pricey for the quality but not bad. Literally adjacent to Nordstrom's baby section. Very strange vibe.

such a shame the people writing these reviews don’t know about the flies in the kitchen

New Review: Bazille has always been good food, with great atmosphere and excellent service. The service has crashed and burned. I assume this is related to the difficulties of maintaining service staff in the new era, but if you can't pay enough to get excellent, knowledgeable, timely staff at the prices your charging, perhaps it's time to rethink your business model. The wait for a cup of coffee was interminable (20 min after we ordered our entire order because it took 15 minutes for the service person to even come over after we were seated). The rest of the meal was more of the same. It was a relief to finally get the check 2 hours later and just flee. I'm so disappointed how awful this experience was and I hope they do something to improve.Previous review: Delicious. Good selection and excellent range of options. Great cocktails too.

The food is absolutely delicious. We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday there and I can’t express how wonderful the food and service was. Fernando was our waiter and he was amazing! He went above and beyond to make it special for her. Thank you Fernando! We will be back!

There seem to be a few changes, all of which are minor, perhaps due to their new chef. Longtime servers either absent or gone altogether, meaning service may be slightly slower with newer waitstaff. Minimal bread is served even when extra is requested, butter has changed from a quality brand to a restaurant supply brand. Food is still consistently good, but sometimes it's the little things that matter most.

Browsing Nordstrom and eating lunch at Bazille is on my list every time I'm in Austin, which is frequent! The team there is kind and attentive, and the food is always delicious. This time, I ordered a cup of soup and a chicken salad for lunch. Thinking ahead, I ordered a filet mignon meal for the next day's dinner. I ordered it rare, and it was reheated as a perfect medium. It is always a great dining experience at Bazille!

While the food and service were good, we waited a very long time for our food. We were seated around 2:00 pm, the restaurant wasn't full by any means, but our food took 30 - 45 minutes to be delivered. They seemed short staffed, the bartendar was mixing drinks and waiting tables. Maybe the kitchen was short staffed as well. We ordered off the brunch menu and I had to send my order back (which they comped and were very appologetic about), but I had to wait a long time for the replacement. I will definitly go back and give it another try - and I'd love to have drinks there after shopping.

Bazille continues to be a favorite lunch spot for us, but today's experience was less than exceptional. As usual, husband ordered extra bread and butter, but they were out of bread. One of our guests ordered a burger, but they were out of burgers. And according to one source, they had even run out of catsup. Aside from that, the grilled cauliflower salad another guest ordered was mediocre at best, to the extent that she didn't even finish it. At the same time, however, my shrimp caesar salad was nice, as was husband's crab mango salad and guest's salmon entree, so all was not lost, especially when the creme brulee arrived for two at our table. A new chef is in the kitchen, so hopefully we will see some improvements from this particular dining experience, and hopefully we will continue to enjoy many future lunches at Bazille.
