Terrible experience, the Zelle platform never works well, I cannot make purchases with the debit platform, and when you go to help you they never have an answer, I have wasted time and money with this company that should not work, today I decided to close my account

Sadhana is always rude, is a bad listener, and often has bad information because she's not understanding things I try to say to her multiple times. She talks down to me and ruins my day every time I see her. Someone please fire her so I don't have to change to a location further from my house. The other employees (as said to me verbally) and other clients (as seen in these reviews) also know she's unpleasant and has no customer service, which to me means she can't do her job. Everyone else at this location is wonderful, helpful, and kind. I always pray Sadhana is not working when I go in. I hope you never meet her.

Been banking at this location since about 2014. Was already a client at a different location, but took my grandparents in so they could get better service than Wells Fargo. From the outset, we received excellent care. A year or two later, Albert, the current Branch Manager came in and excellent became phenomenal. Anytime my grandmother had an issue, Albert took personal care to see it was resolved. Everyone at the branch has been helpful and attentive, but Albert is second to none when it comes to customer service. My grandparents passed during the pandemic and Albert again rose to the occasion and offered all the assistance the bank could muster. The negative reviews here are a mystery to me, but some people are impossible to please.

Terrible customer service both in person and on the phone for an all around terrible bank. I opened up a business checking account on September 27 and was told that I had a month to fund the account. After attempting an external transfer only to be told that that was not allowed even though the original rep told me that external transfers were acceptable. I went into this branch location a week after I opened my account in order to make a deposit. I found out that my account was closed without my consent, and without any notes as to why. The older haggard woman that was working as a teller was extremely unprofessional, and rude. When asked why my account was closed it became obvious that doing the bare minimum was too much for her. It’s banks like these that need to default and close.

Poor customer service and horrible phone ethic, never have I been spoken over for more for the reason of sharing an excuse ever in my life. There is also very rarely ever a banker here, so nothing ever gets done. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Walked in to the branch to inquire why there was an erroneous fee on my statement and was told I’d have to call an 800#. If you’re unwilling or unable to answer a question from a customer standing in your lobby, why bother having one?

Poor customer service post merger to become Truist. Unclear policies and refusal to provide clear answers. I was a long time customer, but moving my business elsewhere.

At this branch they don't have enough trained staff to do the job. Sadahana Ahuja was very rude to us and made us wait longer than necessary, on top of that she told us that she was doing us a favor by attending us.

Terrible awful bank. Nice local people with unethical banking practices. I would say illegal but banks are pretty protected with arbitration clauses. Instead of "voting" just don't bank here. This bank is now merging with Suntrust to make Truist to become one of the nations largest banks. They've managed this growth by feeing good customers with algorithms designed to give customers day old bank fee data and slow up deposits and speed up credits to increase fees. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Super Poor service! 2.5 stars is generous for this bank. Tried closing my account because I was moving to another bank. BBT was not helpful at all. They wouldn't even freeze my account so no future transactions would occur. I went on line to shut my card off to prevent future transactions and they continued to process charges so my account overdrafted. Then continue to tack on addition nal charges. I called to find out why the on line card freeze did not work and they said t needed to call as well it was in the fine print when I signed up. Still waiting for a manager to call me.

So, my review has to do with BB&T policies more so than the banks financials. Last night (Sunday at 8pm), i parked next to the South Lamar location of BB&T next to Reds Porch. I would leave this on their yelp page but there isnt one. Obviously the bank is closed being it was Sunday. I park there understanding that it is the banks spot, but they were closed and with no employees inside. I come out about an hour later and my truck is gone. Immediately i assume it was stolen. I walk to where my truck was and looking around to see if the signs for theft were there. Looking around i happen to look at the sign and in small print it says J&J towing. I am livid but calm at this point. At 8pm on a Sunday at a bank that hasnt been open for two days they tow. So i go across town and spend 193.00 dollars to retrieve my truck. Talking to J&J they told me that BB&T has a contract to tow vehicles 24/7 from their bank. Which means that this is most likely a profit center for this bank. Sure, was it marked bank parking. Absolutely. But seriously at 8pm on a Sunday? This morning I called the bank and spoke to Ruben (asked for the manager but he said they didnt have one, most likely a lie). Then listened to the run around from this guy and said, well we need access at all times. Blah Blah Blah, Bro, its Sunday at 8pm. I can understand during business hours, but dont placate me with you have to do this. So think about this, do you want to trust your money with an organization that tows you at 8pm on sunday? What happens if you are a day late on a payment, or luck has you down and you are tight this month? You think they are going to give you a day? I dont think so. There are better banks and credit unions to work with. Ones that work with people, that are human. Be wise spend your money elsewhere.
