First visit with this new doctor. She is friendly and listens. Flexible with testing results from other doctors. Office staff was also welcoming and thorough.

Getting worse. The administrative side of this practice is beyond disorganized. As I previously mentioned, they wanted to refer me to podiatry for repairing an ingrown toenail. They couldn't handle the referral during my visit on Monday because their computer was down. Each day has had a new excuse/explanation. Now they're HOPING to have it sent tomorrow -- Friday. Meanwhile, they've already arranged for my colon cancer screening materials to be shipped and they'll be here Friday.In other words, if all you need is preventive care, you're going to be great here. But if you actually require ongoing or followup care, you're going to fall through the cracks.As soon as the colon cancer screening is done, I'll be looking for a new doctor.

The new office is very nice and has more parking available. Dr. Swegler and her staff are very helpful and polite. Dr. Swegler truly cares about preventative medicine and is very thorough.

Dr. Swegler is a professional who specializes in treating the whole patient, not just symptoms. She has dedicated her entire career to family practice, which goes on to show how much she values peoples health over buckets of money. Highly recommended!

Visit was for annual wellness exam as a new patient. After disclosing all my medical history, a lot of unnecessary tests were ordered that I did not request or want. I had a blood test and they didn't even test for cholesterol or blood glucose levels or anything they are supposed to test for a routine physical. I'm being charged a copay because they performed diagnostic services I didn't ask for so they could code the visit as something else rather than a preventative one. They also billed the incorrect branch of my insurance provider which has caused me to not get credit for my wellness exam and now my premiums will be higher next year because only those that got an exam will get a discount on their insurance at my work. Very disappointed with the entire experience.I also think a lot of these 5 star reviews are fake, they're her friends and family (see Jennifer Swegler's review below)! Just generic praise and always right after a bad review ?

Dr. Swegler has been my doctor for 4 years now, and hopefully more years to come. She is personable and explains everything to you. The physician assistants and medical assistants are also nice. Ive received phone calls from Dr. Swegler and the PA regarding my health after visits. Steven at the front desk is so nice. Even though I’m not feeling well, I know I’m in good hands and leave in good spirits.

I have been a patient for several years, and I really like this staff. They are laid back, courteous, helpful, and caring. They really are just nice and easy to work with. My primary care physician, Dr. Swegler, is excellent. She’s so smart and answers your questions thoughtfully. She’s very reassuring yet practical, and I have never felt rushed. In fact, I always feel like they are going out of their way to take care of me. I really recommend this office for a wide range of preventative healthcare.

Dr. Swegler has a good bedside manner and feels down to earth when chatting with her. She's easy to talk to. The new office off Steck is a nice upgrade from the previous location. The nurse was also friendly and efficient. They have online booking for appointments which is great. I hope a patient portal can be utilized in the future for easy access to patient records.

Dr. Swegler is THE best and most understanding, caring, and smartest doctor I've ever met. She has been the most helpful doctor ever for my kids and I. I absolutely LOVE her and dont know where I'd be without her and the office manager, Paul Swegler! They are great people and truly care about their patients! Nothing but love for all of them! ❤

No idea what is going on here. Used to be fast and great service, now it’s slow and front desk sort of clueless. Nurses are really gruff... like if you hate where you work that much go elsewhere.That said, will most likely have to find another doctor... which is annoying because they have great hours(weekends and late in the day).

The front staff is rude and clueless and the waiting room is dark and dusty.I spent over a year wasting time and money getting misdiagnosed and it took me going to another doctor to be treated correctly. They never even offered to test what it actually was. OVER A YEAR WITH AN INFECTION THAT IS LIFE THREATENING THAT THEY DIDNT EVEN THINK TO CHECK FORThey prescribed me an antibiotic for a bad sinus infection it took them a week to believe me I had and tried to get me back into the office AGAIN even though it was the SAME symptoms. Four days ago I called for antineausea I have had NO RESPONSE BACK and the girl who took my call was dismissive and terribleThey just fired Tracy, the only doctor I liked there for "economic reasons". They want you there to get paid and dont care about you after that.I would recommend Dr.Hope at Austin Regional Center.
