This place reeks of entitlement from the employees. One of the worst interactions I’ve had from boot barn. We got there at 10am when it opened and the doors were still closed and the employees were just staring at us. I’ve worked retail and when we saw someone standing outside even if it was a minute early, we would be courteous to open the door but here they don’t care.

If I could I would give zero, terrible service, the staff is very rude, I had a situation twice where they reminded me that there were still 30 minutes left before closing to hurry up. The last time I didn't undo the belts when clearly one should try it on to see if they like it. HORRIBLE I WOULD NEVER COME BACK!

The WORST interaction I’ve had at a boot barn by far! Maria was so rude and obviously discriminatory towards me because I wasn’t a Spanish speaker. Yall need to retrain your employees and get them in check! Out right disgusting behavior on her behalf. If you’re POC they WILL follow you around the store & assume you’re stealing.

My husband purchased me $300 boots and my boots were placed in a bag. I went in this evening to Capitol plaza , the first 2 clerks said yes I could have the box and even placed it up from for me. When I went to check out Shonta was very rude and said we can not give you a box . I asked can’t you check my history purchase we just purchase less than a week ago . She said no we don’t give boxes without boots. I replied that’s funny because I purchase most of my boots here and always get a box.

If I could rate this store with zero stars, I definitely would. Around a month ago, I visited this store with my nephews to buy some shirts. The initial greeting from the staff was a nice touch. While we were browsing, an associate approached us to offer assistance, which I could appreciate. However, we were then approached 4 more times and asked the same questions. I couldn't help but notice that, as a black woman, I seemed to be closely monitored compared to non-black customers entering the store after me, who were greeted only once and not followed around. It's disappointing that such racial profiling still occurs in stores. My experiences at other locations in Houston have never made me feel this way. I would not recommend shopping at this particular location.

Great sales on jeans. Friendly staff. Wish the variety was different on boots. (ie. 5 boot styles- all huge square toes, many colors and sizes. Some people don’t like chunky square toe boots. Options sell.)

I ordered off the online store and when my order came in nothing fit so they let me exchange for in store purchase.. I tried the jeans on and they fit but, when I got home I put the jeans on and they didn't fit right when I moved around in them.. so I took them back and exchanged them again. The Ariat jeans I have worn for years they had and I am very happy with them. They were nice and helpful and respectful.. I will definitely shop there again!!!!*****

Great staff. Really feel welcomed and well served when I visit. Great selection of western wear at affordable prices. Team goes extra mile to make you feel welcomed and appreciated.

A little disappointed with the false advertising went in to buy a felt hat. Found the one I liked and when I went to check out the price of 239 that was being advertised turned out to be 259. Talked to the manager and even though she saw the price she was saying she couldn’t discount the $20 also made a comment about me complaining about it like I couldn’t afford it. So I bought two.
