Absolutely terrible customer service. I will NEVER do business with this company again. I received someone else's signs last week instead of my own that had been ordered. I called the next morning and was told that they would process the replacement immediately and that they would arrive no later than today. Well, when I never received them today, we called again. Come to find out, they never placed the re-issue to begin with. At what point were they planning to tell me that the VERY time sensitive signs I had ordered would not be received today as they promised they would? They then told me that they would "hopefully" arrive by Friday- NINE DAYS after they were supposed to be delivered. They took absolutely no accountability for their mistake. I am FURIOUS. Terrible customer service and follow up.

The price each goes UP as you order more! They "have a bulk discount at 100", but if you order 1 you will be cheaper each flag than if you order 2 of the same. it is "how their system is set up" (quote from representative)
After reading the other reviews, I am nervous that my order will not make it to my address. Seems like they need to get their act together.

PROOF & PRODUCT WON'T MATCH. "Close Enough" seems to be the new philosophy. Positioning (centering) is a common problem. Half my order does not match the proof. Put another way, builder skill and quality checks are lacking. Ask for a review? Takes forever. Refunds or Rebuilds (if anything) likewise slow. Either they are not interested in pleasing the customer by having the product match the proof OR they are getting so many failures that you just have to wait your turn in the queue. Both are bad.

Was trying to use them to order, however they have poor communication, noone answers their phone and they want you to order before they will help you with any issues via chat. i should have checked the Google Reviews first. Not using them.

I decided to give them one last chance. The only communication was the order confirmation. When it didn't arrive by the scheduled arrival date again, I got the same lame excuse that their system is antiquated and unable to process the order. They know this is an issue and haven't rectified it. They're knowingly taking money and allowing this to happen. Don't use them. Here's the previous issue.
First order last year was fine. This time, I ordered two weeks ago. When my expected delivery date passed, I called in to inquire on what was going on. After being promised I would have an email response with an answer, I waited 3 days before calling again. I was told there was a system issue on their end that won't allow them to fulfill the order and it will take 1-2 business days to get my money back. I've already postponed a home for sale listing while waiting for these signs. While I'll have to proceed without the signs, the fact that I had to call in to find this out rather than them calling me is highly disappointing. The only reason they're getting two stars is because the first order was at least correct, although late at the time also.

I ordered a large banner for my business, received the banner from another customer, after a week. I called and boy, the customer service rep attitude was awful, they do not trust their customers. I was asked to send a picture of the banner, I did it right away, but no response, acknowledgement, nada after 3 days. I told the rep over the phone we needed the banner right away, just to be informed they do not have express shipments, even when they screw up. I should have read other reviews before ordering, at least I would have known what I was getting into.

I ordered a banner and received it quicker than I expected. The quality is durable and seems to be well made. I would definitely use their company for any future banner /signage needs.

We ordered a custom sandwich board sign for our business and when it arrived we noticed the inserts attached with Velcro instead of sliding inside the board itself, which is not what we expected. I reached out to Build-A-Sign and told them this wasn't what we wanted and they told me it states that they are Velcro on the listing, which I noticed on the individual listing afterwards, but it does not state that they attach with Velcro when you actually are going through the customization process. Nevertheless, they told me that, because I was unsatisfied, they could offer me an 80% refund on the board itself. We were very happy with that option and grateful that this company makes customer satisfaction a priority. The sign inserts themselves were excellent quality, seem durable, and the design came out perfectly. Would recommend!

Sadly I forgot how bad they were to deal with and placed a new order. The memories came flooding back. Their design center or whatever its called is total garbage. They don't answer the phone and it takes hours to get a call back. The chat is terrible and they don't have the authority to do anything. They are chatting with who knows how many customers at a time so the wait between responses is ridiculous. But if you miss the response for 30 seconds they end the chat and the next support person has no clue what you have discussed. They have no way to email the chat for documentation....just a terrible business to deal with. Do yourself a favor and pay $5 more and buy local.

Use a different company, they took 3 weeks to tell me they haven’t made my order, they don’t bother to get a hold of the customer if there’s an issue or information missing. They also charge delivery fees and will still take over 2 weeks to receive

Ordered two custom plates. Only one arrived. The one that did arrive was incorrect. Called them. They wanted pictures emailed. I did email the pictures. They said they would call back after 2 days. They never did. Upon calling them, they said they could make it right for an additional price plus additional shipping. Asked them to cancel my order and give me a refund. They have agreed to a partial refund. Lets see if it happens. Very casual - don't care attitude towards customers & business. I will take my future business else where. Don't bother wasting your time with this company.
