While the food at this restaurant was delicious and satisfying, our dining experience was uncomfortable due to an unwelcoming energy. Despite arriving 45 minutes before closing and promptly placing our order, we were disappointed to receive raw chicken and uncooked French fries for the kids. Additionally, the waitress seemed very angry that we were there, and we were not informed that we were supposed to exit through another door. We were then yelled at to not go in the door we came from, which added unnecessary tension. Communication goes a long way, and if we were too late to be serviced, it should have been communicated.

Great little place and what you would expect for a mom and pop type place. I was happy they set me up with what I wanted despite it not being on the menu. Cheese enchiladas smothered in carne guisada for the win. Honestly would have been five stars but the beans were really runny. Everything else was on point. Will be back for sure.

Unpretentious and what you are looking for is that is classic comfort. Sweet staff is a plus. Queso Flameado is very good and a bargain.

Great tasting food! Everything on the menu is great. Your glass/cup will never be empty. Service is better than anywhere in Austin. We go there at least once a week (probably more)Parking: Big parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking.

Twice I've ordered chicken enchiladas verdes and both times there has been VERY little sauce on the enchiladas essentially rendering them dry. Tonight I ordered take out so I couldn't very well ask for additional sauce which is very disappointing. The last time I was in the restaurant and the same thing happened. Enchiladas are supposed to have ample sauce so I'm not sure why this place is doing this. Not good!

This spot has the best stuffed jalapeños around! Green pepper breaded and stuffed with 2 different cheeses. Simple and delicious. The best part is they make them fresh! They are also huge but they reheat really well in thr air fryer. I've been coming here for a couple years for these and they are very consistent. I tried their new enchiladas and they were decent. I definitely recommend the stuffed jalapeños.

This is a good place, salsa is spicy, chips are good, drinks are kept full. The quality of the plated food was lacking. Some good flavors but the chicken tastes completely unseasoned. Plate did not arrive with the items it said came with it on the menu.

I went here for breakfast. The coffee wasn't hot, and the chilaquiles dish was horrible. The dish had s very minimal amount of Verde salsa, eggs were sunny side up and not as I requested (over easy). The waitress only refilled coffee once. I waited to see if she would refill and possibly get a.fresh hot cup. Nope! she completely ignored me. I won't be going backParking: They have a huge bar but it's always closed

Glad to have a local TexMex near by. Our queso, enchiladas, and flautas we're good. Price reason Only negative is their tortilla chips are like Doritos.

Love the location, authentic Mexican with the option of TexMex if you want that chimichanga (like me). The food was delicious and the steak in the chimichanga was juicy and very tasty, surprising as most Tex mex chains usually use cheap cuts of meat for something like a chimichanga. Was a pleasant surprise to have such delicious meat in a fried tortilla wrapper drenched in cheese.

Wow! Dining at Casino Real was a REAL authentic experience. Staff were intentional, personable, and attentive! The margarita on the rocks was freshly squeezed eliminating any fear of acid reflux. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and welcoming and the manger/ owner took the time to speak to a series of tables to ensure a gran dinning experience. It’s worth the stop! The price is great, the food is fresh, and the staff is a delight. Thank you for the experience and for accommodating a party of 10 last minute even with a semi full house. We will be back! *3 top shelf margarita on the rocks, tamale dinner, complimentary chips and salsa plus tip was roughly $40
