capital one in general. i tried to make an account online but was told i needed to call to provide more information. both times i called there was a 45 min hold time and then the line dropped.so i went into the cafe. the banker was friendly and helpful but spent equally long on hold - i was there for an hour before leaving. parking wasn’t validated. just a waste of time and the opposite of customer friendly. what’s the point of no minimums or fees if i can’t even make an account?

This is a great place to work, especially if you have a capital one card! All drinks are half price and they're high quality. Significantly better than the bigger chains like Starbucks.

I just had an incredible experience at the Capital One Cafe. Jeremy helped me navigate a tricky ATM situation and was so pleasant and helpful, making sure I was taken care of with coffee while I waited. This place and the people in it are great!

Banking and coffee staff are very professional and friendly.Bank staff was ready to help and greeted me when walking in. :)The coffee staff was quick and attentive. Got the Capital One exclusive Honey Lavender Latte. Which is on par with other Capital One Cafe locations.I don't drink that much coffee and the brew here taste great so i don't understand everyone else's review saying the coffee isn't that good. Must be snobby critics.Parking is the only inconvenience your best bet may be the ally way.If you already in town to where you don't drive this bank is perfect.

worst coffee with no taste nor aroma, as you entered the space you won't sense any coffee brewing smell at all, I ordered a latte with some extra shots that tasted like drip coffee. worst experience ever - and they proclaim as a VERVE roasters!!! VERY EXPENSIVE too my latter cost $7 plus tip = $8 coffee!

This place had a great cup of coffee and a very friendly staff. The capital one team that is a part of the cafe was delightful. They gave me a coupon for a complimentary cup of coffee so I returned a second time on my trip. Coffee was excellent and the place was very quiet with gentle music in the background. They had games from Chess, battleship, and Uno. I will make this my regular stop when in Austin.

Loved the location of this spot. Took a long time to take our order despite there being no one else in line and not busy at all. Regardless, we had a wonderful time people watching downtown yesterday in the cafe until a man came in and let two dogs off-leash INSIDE the cafe. Naturally, one of the dogs headed straight for me and jumped on me. I am in Austin to have major surgery, and the dog jumped on my catheter and tubes and I have been bleeding ever since. I didn’t realize dogs were allowed to run off-leash indoors or I would have never gone out of my Airbnb. Dogs most definitely should not be allowed to run off-leash inside a business, even if they are small. The owner was mortified when the dog jumped on me and all my tubes, maybe he should be a little more aware of the space he is in and try not to take up so much of it. It’s a cafe, not your house. The staff said nothing to the man about the two animals running loose in the cafe. Enjoyed the location and view, but we will head somewhere else for coffee tomorrow morning.

I stopped by this Cafe with my girlfriend to deposit some cash and the staff was nice and helpful. Marty was awesome. He gave me good information about Capitol One branches around me that were closing down. He was quite the character. The cafe was clean and cozy. It seems to have good drinks and snacks (half off if purchased with a Capitol One card), and free Wi-Fi. I recommend this cafe to everyone looking to rest from walking around Congress or getting some work done in peace.

This is not so much a place for food. This is the Littlefield building which houses investment firms, start up tech capital company bases of operation, and more on the upper floors. The Capital one point itself is a corner with tables, wifi, outlets, and a calm environment people walk in to work from and relax. They are more focused on atm hi tech interactions if your going there in regards to your capital one bank account be prepared to have your debit / credit card as they do not have the ability to make one there for you if you forget and are limited without that on what they can do for you, including cash check deposits and paying your credit card.Restrooms are well maintained and kept clean as they try to balance the occasional visit from the homeless which are around every corner of this area panhandling at all hours of the morning, day, and night.High traffic and all kinds of crazy things and people will you see if you stick around long enough. The coffee options are more a partner business operating independent inside that rewards you for using capital one but are not affiliated really with capital one and will gladly serve you a $5+ coffee to your pallet.Pete's coffee brand is their main product and some snack, which ironically is across from Starbucks. You want food walk across to either velvet tacos, Cava Mediterranean, or P'Terry's but keep in mind this place has the better more secure public wifi of the block! (Still use a VPN with caution when on any public wifi period!)(public wifi is not contingent on a purchase or being with capital one and depending on the time of day you may even get free sunglasses, swag, coffee samples, and a smile just for visiting. :)Been supporting occasional IT clients in this area for over ten years so very familiar with all the businesses up and down Congress fyi!Parking forget about it!(Best to figure out a ride to this area or a day pass deal under $20 at a garage and walk to this area, what few public paid parking meter spots remain within walking distance I would not trust in this area fyi I warned you.)A word of advice:What with strict towing , parking tickets, theft, people on foot walking I. Front of vehicles not in their right mind, and all the scooters and bicycle folk that will pop out of nowhere be careful getting in and out of this busy high traffic area central hub!
