I have been to several of their events. It is absolutely legit. In the last banquet they honored an active Navy Seal giving him an expensive sporting equipment and a all paid vacation. They also did a drawing for just veterans, and gave them a standing ovation. Two years ago they gave $5,000 to a single parent police officer wounded in line of duty. I have had a great time with them and respect the work their doing.

Not filed as an actual non-profit; this is an illegitimate organization. Gives very little back to local charity in comparison to annual donations accrued. Please do not support this org — they are also known for their abysmal work environment and comp. (2022)UPDATE (4/2/2023) — Angie's defensive review to justify this organizations' laundering perfectly mirrors the exact kind of professionalism that you'd expect from Central Texas Wildlife Legacy. Her unhinged monologue is not only littered with incoherent and spur of the moment statistics, but also has a certain surprisingly illiterate flair you wouldn't expect from a native. Needless to say, she's a "close friend" of the owners.

I had some difficulty verifying a raffle ticket was valid. It was a misprint and didn't have some necessary information. Once I filled out the contact form, I got a call in about an hour from management, pointed out the problem and they remedied it quickly. Wish all organizations took ownership like that.

The "Sara" review is FAKE. I have worked at this club for over 8 years. This most recent 2022 Gala Purple Heart Veteran, Silver Star winner Carl Hutchins was honored with high end rifle and hunt. Several scholarships were awarded. An award was given to a female police officer who was stabbed saving the life of a pregnant woman being stabbed by a male attacker: the female officer, a single parent mother, was given a stipend of $5,000. It is absolutely legit, registered 501 c 3 tax exempt organization. I know - I have to deal with the government and state paperwork. It is literally the highest paying not - for - profit for entry level positions in Austin. Entry level pay is $22.00 an hour. They even pay time and a half. The working environment is great - paid lunches and development time. Of people working here, two have been here 8 months, and 10 months respectively. One for 4 years, myself 8 years, and one 12 years. If an organization is horrible to work at, unlikely we would work her this long.A "Sara Matias" has never worked here, never applied for a job, and knows nothing about this club.

This nonprofit does so much good for veterans, youth hunting, and other organizations. Such a blessing.
