We recently had the pleasure of working with Century Management to develop a financial plan tailored to our unique needs and aspirations. Rachel, David, and Scott have been absolutely incredible in supporting my husband and me with our financial planning. I've been investing with Century Management since the mid-90's and have been very pleased with their overall program. In the last year or so, Mark, Scott and Rachel have really helped me with retirement planning and long term financial planning. They are extremely knowledgeable about EVERYTHING money related, including taxes, money distributions and wealth protection. I'm closing in on retirement days, and feel so much more at ease knowing CM is looking out for my best interests.

His knowledge of bonds and dividend-paying stocks have been invaluable and unbelievably helpful.Scott has also been a wealth of knowledge across a wide range of financial planning needs that we have had. The Moms Club ® of Teravista would like to give a shout out and thank you to Scott Van Den Berg for presenting the Keys to Surviving & Thriving During Normal Times or in Times of Chaos to our mom’s group back in June. Many of us have been concerned given so much uncertainty today with Covid-19 and so many other unsettling things that seem to be happening in the world today. Scott’s discussion helped us to focus on smart money habits that are in our control and the recipes to long term financial success such as reducing debt, having a budget and living within our means, as well as the advantage of savings and compound interest. He also showed us the benefits of having a financial plan and the importance of having various documents in good order, like updated beneficiary designations, medical powers of attorney, and HIPPA authorizations on all family members. We learned a lot and left the meeting with more peace of mind. If you have the chance to have Scott speak to your group or family on financial planning topics, we think it will be well worth your time.

Scott Van Den Berg and Rachel Advey helped put together a very comprehensive plan for my wife and I. This plan went into great detail regarding our business where they ran many "what if" scenarios. In addition, they incorporated personal planning aspects such as tax savings, retirement planning options, social security optimization, and college planning. We were most excited about the tax and retirement planning recommendations, as Scott helped us achieve significant tax savings by installing and managing a combination 401k and Cash Balance Pension plan for our company. I have complete confidence in Scott and Rachel and would highly recommend their comprehensive wealth management and retirement planning services.

This group ruined the trajectory of my family. 10 years with them (roughly between mid-2006 through 2016 or so) and the return was .05%...as in ONE HALF OF ONE PERCENT. Oh, and I think they charged me around $75,000 to squander it all away. Awful. I had a fair amount (albeit not a ton and I had do draw money out to bridge my cost of living to my new career). Would have all been fine with a roughly 7%+ return. Not a chance. Often, they bet on declining companies (so many retail companies too) that they thought could make a comeback. Unfortunately, only 10-15% of their bets pulled through (and modest at that). When I asked for them to maybe return some of the fees to help bridge their failings (my final year they were down like 15% when the market was up like around 20%) they said "nope!". A cookie jar would be better as the cookie jar will make you zero profit; however, will not charge you $75,000 for it's service.
