We absolutely loved Challenger! The administrators and teachers are kind and personable. They make a point of knowing every student’s name and greet them warmly every day. The school also has safety measures in place, including security personnel, which gives us peace of mind.
That said, Challenger may not be the right fit for every child—it’s not a school that focuses heavily on emotional expression or creativity. However, if you're looking for a place that emphasizes traditional values, discipline, and a strong academic foundation, Challenger is the perfect choice. The curriculum is advanced, covering everything from good penmanship at a young age to public speaking. It’s wonderful for gifted learners.
What sets Challenger apart is how it teaches children accountability, discipline, and excellence while still offering fun activities like cooking classes, Spanish lessons, and chess club. My daughter attended Challenger from kindergarten through the first half of second grade (we've since moved out of state and haven't been able to find anything comparable). The academic foundation she received there is evident—she’s ahead of her grade level and carries herself with a maturity that reflects the school’s influence.
We are so grateful for the experience and feel Challenger has truly set her up for success.

Huge problem with their enrollment process. After visiting a test is given for over 50 questions to kids. I dont think this is the right way to evaluate a overall child capability. What a school should be doing is nurturing and learning the levels of each child adaptaibility and then provide the right evaluation and give a seat. Out right rejected my child and said that out of 50 questions didnt do well. They total gave about 100 questions...what?? for a kid so young why would they keep such ridiculous assessments i have no clue. We were made to wait a week before we even heard back, claiming they are busy. But can charge 200 dollars per admission fee or whatever and then take the money and reject the kid. If you are taking the money give a seat or give the money back. Sadly this is just a money making place, 1500 per child monthly and its ridiculous to see the prices.Evaluate your process and your staff priorities. When a child is evaluated have a humanity side of it rather than numbers or soon you will see that people wont be interested. Kids want to join a place they feel welcomed not rejected. Very disappointing exprience and after they made us wait for a week we didnt bother enrolling our kid so we didnt even wait for their response and went to another school. If they can keep stupid tests like this i dont want my kid joining this kind of place.

I rarely write negative reviews but feel compelled on this one. This school is not for everyone and i urge every parent to do their research. Its in essence a prep school that starts the rigid curriculum at age 3. There is ZERO accommodation for children who are outside of the challenger mould in terms of behavior, culture, learning interests, aptitude etc. My son, who is a little high energy 4 year old coming from covid nanny care at home at 6 months day care was essentially given 2 weeks to "change his behaviors" and was called disruptive for talking out of turn once and because he jumped up when he saw his favorite book been read. He was not also allowed to "slouch" as all kids were told to sit straight cross legged for multiple sessions and teachers would walk around constantly correcting their poses. I mean these are 4 year old kids, just stop and think about that for a minute. There is also literally ZERO diversity in the school. just pay a visit to the classroom and you will understand. While it has proven academic results, one has to question at what cost and loss it comes at for these young kids. pls do your research before you subject your kids to this experience

We enrolled and then have to withdraw with too many covid cases happening at the school. No mask required, no vaccination required, no good policy to prevent covid spreading around the school. I wouldn't send my kids to a private school that doesn't care about the safety of their teachers and studnets.

If you value education, and if you think a superior education will give your children broader opportunities when they grow up, then Challenger School is a good school to consider. The public schools have made hard choices about what they no longer have time to teach.Challenger, on the other hand, still teaches kids sentence structure and sentence diagramming, cursive writing, and math skills that help these kids score at the highest levels on national standardized tests. Not only that, but Challenger teaches pride in our country, and an understanding of the principles upon which our country was founded. I feel lucky that we found this school when our kids were young. Challenger School provides a superior education.

Our son attended challenger pre school from 2016 - 2018. We liked the way the program was structured. He learned a lot and loved it. Teachers and the staff take genuine efforts to motivate, guide and challenge the students.

Challenger school had been one of the key contributors for our child's development years of Pre-K and K! Our daughter, Sahana Shah, has gained skills in the area of structured learning, behavioral learning, maths, arts and crafts. We are grateful and our heartfelt thanks to the Challenger school system, exceptional teachers, and courteous staff who care about every single kid on campus, to provide them the strongest foundation to sustain and withstand the challenges that will come along the way- be it within the Challenger school itself, or at another public school campus. Cheers - SHAH family

Great focus on learning. Well thought through curriculum across grades and amazing teachers. My daughter keeps saying she "loves to learn" and is never bored or not challenged.

My son has attended challengers prek 4 for a year ,4 years ago and we loved it , he learned a lot in a year and school itself is very clean ,organized and teachers take time if the kid is lagging and lots of emphasis on independence which helped him.Now my daughter is in prek 3 program which she loves and is thriving both personally and academically ..Challenger is not for everyone as we have seen kids and parents stressed out about performing .I would strongly recommend this school and i always wonder how they teach kids to read and write in such a short span .
