Customer service is the pits.
1st and foremost, the lady there on Friday afternoon was less than friendly and or helpful.
2nd - this location said they would need to charge me a $10 fee to cash a check made payable to me from one of its members. HORRIBLE do you honestly think I would want to be your member if this is first impressions? NO
3rd - I decided to pay the $10 only to be told after some time that they were not able to cash the check for me. The clerk confirmed funds were available but they needed to ask the member a series of questions before they would cash it for me.
So - in the end. It's not so much about me having to wait to cash a check payable to me from a person who bought a fridge from me - but it's more about the service.
I am so glad I am not your member Chase Bank. Your people need training and commom etiquette.

The phone number of this location cannot be connected. Nobody will pick up the phone. When you get there in person. you don't see a lot people there. Why just not work at home? Any difference?

One of my foreign vendors required a letter showing my account details (A/C number and SWIFT code) in order to send a wire transfer. They also needed the letter to be signed by an authorized person. I went to the local bank at Avery Ranch, Austin TX and the the person told me that they cannot issue a "letter" as such and gave me a printed document with my account information but with no signature or contact information of an authorized person. I went back to the bank yesterday (4/9/24) since the vendor required the letter to be signed and also have the SWIFT code added in order to clear the payment from their end. The payment was about $47k from one of the largest companies in S. Korea, and which had been withheld due to the the Bank not issuing a signed letter with the SWIFT code. I explained to the person I talked to again (David Writ, Avery Ranch TX Bank) and he was adamant that the foreign vendor didn't need a signed letter. He was basically deciding how a big conglomerate in S. Korea should conduct business. He was not willing to listen to my specific requirement and said there is nothing he could do. I asked him to give me a letter stating that the bank cannot issue a signed letter so that I can send that to the vendor. He refused to do that also. I had wasted a lot of time and also losing money since the payment is withheld.Trying to find another bank and open a new account to get a simple bank letter.

Please Go see Shay! She was amazing, She called me at my request online and went over everything I needed to bring, before our meeting. I showed up at the branch and was greeted and taken to her office. The Result?: I switched over all my accounts, personal and Business, Very valuable Banker. I opened my business and personal account with them today. 10-stars Shay! Go Chase for hiring very talented and professional bankers ! ????
